Chapter 1: A New Day
Once upon a time, in a sunny little town, there lived a cheerful girl named Lily. Lily was three years old and very excited because today was her first day of school!
“Good morning, Mommy!” Lily said with a big smile.
“Good morning, Lily! Are you ready for your big day?” Mommy replied, brushing Lily's hair.
“Yes! I can't wait!” Lily jumped up and down.
Lily wore her favorite yellow dress and her sparkly shoes. She packed her little backpack with crayons, a soft teddy bear, and a shiny lunchbox.
“Look at my backpack, Mommy!” Lily showed her backpack.
“It's beautiful, just like you!” Mommy said.
Lily and Mommy walked to school, hand in hand. The sun was shining, and the birds were singing.
“Look at the big school!” Lily pointed.
“It's lovely, isn't it?” Mommy said.
When they arrived, Lily saw many children playing. Some were laughing, and some were holding hands. “I feel a little shy,” Lily whispered.
“That's okay, Lily. Everyone feels shy sometimes. Just smile and say hello,” Mommy encouraged her.
Lily nodded and took a deep breath.
Chapter 2: Meeting New Friends
Inside the classroom, there were many colorful drawings on the walls. A kind teacher named Miss Emma smiled at Lily. “Welcome to class, Lily!” she said.
“Hello, Miss Emma!” Lily replied, feeling happy.
“Let's play a game to get to know each other!” Miss Emma said.
All the children sat in a circle. “I will say my name, and then you say your name!” said Miss Emma.
“I am Miss Emma!”
“I am Lily!” said Lily, waving her hand.
“I am Sam!” said a boy with curly hair.
“I am Mia!” said a girl with pigtails.
Lily felt warm inside. They were all friendly!
After the game, Miss Emma said, “Now, let's learn about colors!” She showed them red, blue, yellow, and green.
“Yellow like my dress!” Lily shouted.
“Yes, Lily! Great job!” Miss Emma smiled.
Lily was having so much fun. She painted a big sun with her yellow crayon.
Chapter 3: A Happy Ending
After painting, it was time for lunch. Lily opened her shiny lunchbox. “Yummy!” she said.
“What do you have?” asked Sam.
“I have a sandwich and an apple!” Lily answered.
“Can I share your apple?” Sam asked.
“Sure!” Lily smiled.
They shared and laughed together.
At the end of the day, Miss Emma said, “You all did so well today! Remember, you can always ask for help.”
Lily felt proud. “I made new friends!” she told Mommy when she got home.
“Yes, you did! I'm so proud of you, Lily,” Mommy said, hugging her.
“School is fun!” said Lily.
“It is, and tomorrow will be even better!” Mommy replied.
Lily went to bed that night, dreaming of colors, friends, and sunshine. She couldn't wait for another day of school.
And so, Lily learned that school was a wonderful place with friends and fun. She felt happy and excited for all the adventures to come!
