Dr. Ben is a friendly doctor. He works in a bright, sunny clinic. Every day, he helps children feel better.

"Hello, I'm Dr. Ben!" he says with a big smile. "I help you feel good and strong."

Dr. Ben has a stethoscope. It's shiny and silver. "This helps me listen to your heart," he explains. Thump-thump, thump-thump goes the heart.

One day, little Lily comes to see Dr. Ben. She has a teddy bear with her. "My tummy hurts," says Lily softly.

Dr. Ben kneels down to Lily's level. "Let's check your tummy," he says gently. "Teddy can watch too!"

Dr. Ben touches Lily's tummy. He listens with his stethoscope. "Your tummy sounds fine," he says warmly. "But we will make it feel better."

Then, BEEP BEEP! There's an urgent call. A little boy needs help quickly. "I must go," says Dr. Ben. "Will you be brave, Lily?"

Lily nods and hugs her teddy tightly.

Dr. Ben rushes to help the little boy. He works with nurses and helpers. They are a team. "We can do this together," he says.

They help the boy feel better. Everyone smiles. Dr. Ben is happy.

He goes back to Lily. "Thank you for waiting," he says. "You are very brave. Your tummy is better now."

Lily smiles. "Thank you, Dr. Ben!"

Dr. Ben feels good. He loves helping kids. He waves goodbye. "Remember, I'm here to help," he says.

Dr. Ben's job is important. He makes children feel safe and happy. And that makes his heart thump-thump with joy.
