Chapter 1: A New Friend
In a sunny little town, there was a bright and cheerful school called Rainbow Academy. The walls were painted in beautiful colors, and flowers danced in the gentle breeze outside. Inside, children laughed and played, filling the classroom with joy.
One sunny morning, a little boy named Benny bounced into class. Benny was four years old, with curly brown hair and a big, happy smile. He loved his school and all the fun things they did, like painting, playing games, and singing songs. Today felt special because there was a new student joining their class.
“Hi, everyone!” said Miss Lily, their teacher. She was kind and had a warm voice. “Today we have a new friend! His name is Sam.”
Benny felt excitement swirl in his tummy. He was curious about Sam. What would he be like? Would he like to play?
When Sam walked in, he looked a bit shy. He had straight black hair and bright blue eyes that scanned the room. He stood near the door, his hands in his pockets. Benny could see that Sam seemed a little nervous.
“Hi, Sam!” Benny said with a big smile. “Do you want to sit with me?”
Sam looked up and nodded slowly. “Okay,” he whispered.
Benny waved to Sam to come over. “Let's do a fun project together! We can paint!” He knew playing together would help Sam feel happy and included.
“Really? You want to paint with me?” Sam asked, his eyes lighting up just a little.
“Of course! Painting is the best!” Benny replied with enthusiasm. They both grabbed brushes and colors, and soon the table was covered in swirling colors and laughter.
Chapter 2: Learning Together
As the days passed, Benny and Sam became great friends. They shared snacks, played games, and even helped each other with their letters and numbers. Benny learned that Sam loved dinosaurs and could name all of them!
“Look, Benny! This one is a T-Rex!” Sam said, showing his drawing.
“Wow! That's so cool!” Benny exclaimed. “Can I draw a dinosaur too?”
“Sure! Let's make a whole dinosaur world!” Sam smiled, feeling more comfortable.
One day, Miss Lily announced an exciting event. “Next week, we will have a school trip to the Nature Park! We will see real animals and plants. It will be so much fun!”
Benny jumped up with joy. “Yay! I can't wait!”
But then Sam looked worried. “What if I get lost?” he asked softly.
Benny thought for a moment. “You won't get lost! I'll stay right beside you. We will stick together like glue!”
Sam smiled again, feeling happy that he had a friend. Benny knew that being a good friend meant helping Sam feel safe.
Chapter 3: A Day to Remember
Finally, the day of the trip arrived! The children gathered in the bright morning sun, full of excitement. Benny and Sam held hands as they boarded the big yellow bus. It felt like an adventure!
At the Nature Park, Benny and Sam saw tall trees, colorful flowers, and playful animals. They laughed at the funny monkeys swinging in the trees and watched ducks swimming in a little pond. Sam pointed excitedly at a butterfly. “Look, Benny!”
“Wow! It's so pretty!” Benny exclaimed.
During lunch, they sat on a picnic blanket with their friends. Benny noticed that Sam was a little quiet.
“Are you okay, Sam?” Benny asked, concerned.
“I'm just happy. I like being here with you,” Sam replied shyly.
Benny grinned. “I'm happy too! Friends are the best part of school!”
As they headed back to the bus, Benny felt proud. He had helped his new friend feel welcome and loved. Sam had learned to be brave, and Benny learned that kindness is like a warm hug that makes everything better.
When they returned to Rainbow Academy, Benny and Sam walked hand in hand, ready for more fun and learning together.
And from that day on, they knew that no matter what, they would always be there for each other, brightening each other's days with laughter, friendship, and love.
