Partie 1: Amy, the Farmer
Once upon a time, in the sunny countryside, there lived a kind woman named Amy. She was a cheerful farmer who loved taking care of her animals and growing delicious fruits and vegetables on her farm. Every morning, Amy would wake up early to feed her chickens, milk the cows, and tend to her crops.
One bright morning, as Amy was gathering eggs from the chicken coop, she heard giggles coming from behind the barn. Curious, she walked over to find two little children, Lily and Ben, peeking out from behind the haystack.
"Hello there, little ones!" Amy greeted them with a warm smile. "What are you two up to today?"
"We heard that you're the best farmer in town, Amy," Lily said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Can we help you out on the farm today?"
Amy chuckled at their eagerness and replied, "Of course! I could use some extra hands around here. How about we start by feeding the goats?"
And so, Lily and Ben followed Amy around the farm, learning all about the different animals and plants. They gathered fresh vegetables from the garden, fed the pigs, and even helped water the sunflowers. Amy was impressed by how quickly the children picked up on the farm chores.
As the sun began to set, Amy sat with Lily and Ben on the porch, sipping on cool lemonade. "Thank you for all your help today," Amy said, patting the children on the back. "You both make excellent little farmers!"
Lily and Ben beamed with pride, feeling happy to have spent the day on the farm with Amy. Little did they know, more adventures awaited them on the farm the next day.
Part 2: A Day of Surprises
The next morning, Amy woke up to find a delightful surprise in the barn. One of her goats had given birth to a tiny kid overnight! Excited to share the news, Amy rushed to find Lily and Ben.
"Guess what, my little farmers?" Amy exclaimed, her eyes shining with joy. "We have a new member on the farm! Come meet our baby goat."
Lily and Ben's faces lit up with excitement as they followed Amy to the barn. They gently stroked the soft fur of the baby goat and watched in awe as it wobbled around on its tiny legs.
"We should give our new friend a name," Ben suggested, his eyes full of wonder.
After much discussion, Lily came up with the perfect name. "Let's call her Daisy, because she's as bright and beautiful as a flower," Lily said with a smile.
And so, Daisy the baby goat became a beloved member of the farm, bringing joy to everyone with her playful antics. Lily and Ben spent the day playing with Daisy, helping Amy with the farm chores, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside.
As the day drew to a close, Amy gathered everyone around for a special treat—a homemade apple pie made from the apples they had picked together. The children savored every bite, feeling grateful for the wonderful experiences they had shared with Amy on the farm.
As the stars twinkled in the night sky, Lily and Ben snuggled up to Amy, feeling like part of a big, happy family. The farm was full of love, laughter, and endless possibilities, thanks to the caring heart of their friend, Amy the farmer.
And so, the adventures on the farm continued, filled with laughter, friendship, and the magic of nature. Lily and Ben knew that they would always have a special place in their hearts for Amy and the farm that had brought them together.
