A smiling, serene farmer with short gray hair, fair skin, a blue cap, red plaid shirt and denim overalls sticks a white label on a large wooden crate in a warm brown barn; a woman with her hair in a bun in a simple floral dress claps and holds a small basket of apples near the barn entrance to the right of the man; a ~6‑year‑old boy in an oversized cap, overalls and muddy shoes stands beside the man, reaching for a label with an enthusiastic look; Daisy, a brown‑and‑white cow with big gentle eyes, crouches by a rack watching; Clucky, a red hen, pecks near the boy’s feet; Baa‑Baa, a fluffy white sheep, stands left and slightly back; golden light filters through an open door onto shelves of labeled boxes, hay bales, hanging tools and a worn plank floor with a few chips; the farmer labels boxes for his farm shop while family and animals watch, creating a calm, warm, organized scene with warm colors, strong contrasts, rounded silhouettes and friendly expressions. report a problem with this image

In a bright and sunny valley, Farmer Ben woke up with the sun. His farm was full of life, with animals and plants waking up alongside him. Each morning, Farmer Ben put on his big, comfy boots and his hat. He was ready to start his busy day.

Farmer Ben had many friends on the farm. There was Daisy the cow, who gave the creamiest milk. Clucky the hen laid the freshest eggs. And Baa-Baa the sheep had the softest wool. Farmer Ben loved each of them very much and took care of them every day.

“Good morning, Daisy!” Farmer Ben called as he filled her trough with hay. Daisy mooed happily. “Good morning, Clucky!” he greeted, collecting eggs from the chicken coop. Clucky clucked a cheerful reply. “Hello, Baa-Baa!” he said, patting the fluffy sheep. Baa-Baa bleated with a little hop.

Farmer Ben's garden was just as lively. The carrots were bright orange, the tomatoes were red and juicy, and the corn stood tall in the sun. He watered the plants, making sure they were happy and growing strong. “Drink up, little plants,” he said softly.

Today was a special day. Farmer Ben had a big job to do. He had to label the boxes of seeds and tools for his farm shop. In the barn, there were many boxes waiting for Farmer Ben. “Let's get started,” he said, rubbing his hands together.

Farmer Ben carefully picked up a label and stuck it on a box. “These are carrot seeds,” he said aloud, sticking the label on. He moved to the next box. “And these are tomato seeds.” He worked slowly and carefully, making sure each box was labeled just right.

Outside, the sun shone brightly, and a gentle breeze blew through the fields. Farmer Ben paused to listen to the birds singing and the leaves rustling. He loved the sounds of the farm. It was music to his ears.

After finishing with the seeds, Farmer Ben labeled the boxes of tools. “These are spades,” he said, placing the label. “And these are rakes.” Each label helped him remember what was inside the box. His work was like putting together a big puzzle, and he was almost done!

Farmer Ben took a little break to enjoy a snack. He sat on an old log, munching on an apple from his orchard. The apple was sweet and crunchy, just the way he liked it. Daisy, Clucky, and Baa-Baa gathered around him, curious about his tasty treat.

“Would you like some?” he chuckled, sharing bits of apple with his animal friends. They nibbled happily, enjoying the sunny afternoon together. Farmer Ben felt grateful for his farm and his friends.

With the labeling done, Farmer Ben looked at the boxes. They were neatly organized and ready for the farm shop. He felt proud of his hard work. “Good job, everyone!” he said, smiling at his animal friends.

Suddenly, Farmer Ben heard clapping. He turned to see his family and some neighbors gathered nearby. They were clapping and cheering for him. “Hooray for Farmer Ben!” they said, clapping their hands. Farmer Ben blushed and waved back, feeling happy and appreciated.

The day was ending, and the sky turned pink and orange. Farmer Ben's heart was full. He knew that tomorrow would bring another busy day, but tonight, he felt content and peaceful. He thanked his animal friends and promised to see them in the morning.

As the stars began to twinkle in the sky, Farmer Ben whispered, “Goodnight, farm.” He walked back to his cozy farmhouse, ready for a restful night's sleep, dreaming of another wonderful day on the farm.
