Part One: Rainy Morning on the Farm

Patty the farmer wakes up early. A soft rain taps on her window. Patty smiles. She loves the gentle sound. It makes the fields smell fresh and sweet, like warm bread and honey.

Patty puts on her yellow raincoat and big rubber boots. She steps outside. The grass tickles her toes and the raindrops patter on her hat. “Hello, little rain,” Patty whispers, “you help my plants grow strong.”

Chickens cluck and ducks quack. Patty sprinkles food for them. “Good morning, everyone!” she says. The animals flap and wiggle, happy for breakfast. Patty's boots make squishy footprints in the soft mud.

Part Two: Working with the Rain

The rain is gentle, like a soft song. Patty walks to her garden. She sees green beans, red tomatoes, and bright yellow squash. Rain drops sparkle on big, leafy plants. “Thank you, rain,” Patty says, “you are a good friend to my garden.”

Patty checks her plants. She feels the damp leaves. She pulls out a weed, softly, like picking a feather. She picks sweet strawberries and puts them in her blue basket. A tiny worm peeks out from the soil. Patty giggles. “Hello, little helper! You make the dirt healthy.

Patty's cow Moo-Moo stands by the fence. “Moo,” says Moo-Moo. Patty pats her soft nose. “You are safe and happy,” she says. The rain keeps the grass green for Moo-Moo to munch.

Part Three: A Cozy Ending

Patty finishes her work. She sits under a big tree. The rain whispers all around. Patty feels calm and good. “I trust the rain and the sun,” she says. “They help me care for the farm.”

She picks a red apple from her tree. She takes a crunchy bite and shares a piece with her dog, Patch. Patch wags his tail, happy and safe.

Patty looks at her farm, shining and clean in the soft rain. She feels proud. She knows she can help her plants and animals every day, with gentle hands and a happy heart.

At the end of the day, Patty goes inside. The rain sings a lullaby on her roof. Patty smiles and feels warm. She knows tomorrow will bring new sunshine and more gentle rain.
