A young farmer Ben, about 28, round face, short brown hair, joyful relieved expression, lowers a large beige canvas to cover rows of stylized wooden vegetables while standing with feet apart and arms extended, helped by Emma, about 24, blonde hair in a braid and a gentle smile, who kneels on one knee to his right pulling a corner of the sheet; shiny red tomatoes, orange carrots with green tops and pale green lettuce are lined in front of a red wooden barn with an open door, a white fence and paper-cut green hills, with bluish-gray clouds and translucent raindrops above—bright pastel colors, painted wood textures, simple rounded forms, and a reassuring cooperative atmosphere. report a problem with this image

Once upon a time, on a sunny farm nestled between rolling green hills, there lived a young farmer named Ben. Ben wore a big straw hat and had a friendly smile that made everyone feel happy. He loved his farm very much.

Every morning, Ben woke up early with the sun. He listened to the birds singing and stretched his arms wide, ready for the day. First, he fed the chickens. "Good morning, little ones!" Ben said, as the chickens clucked and pecked at the seeds he scattered.

Next, Ben went to the barn to see the cows. "Hello, Daisy and Buttercup!" he greeted them. He milked the cows, humming a cheerful tune. The milk was fresh and creamy.

Ben loved every part of his farm, but he knew that farming was hard work. One day, as he looked at the sky, he noticed dark clouds gathering. "Oh dear," Ben said, "I hope it doesn't rain too much."

Ben quickly ran to the fields. He saw his vegetables growing tall and green. The tomatoes were bright red, and the carrots peeked out from the soil. But too much rain could wash them away. Ben thought hard. "I need to protect my plants," he decided.

He called his friend, Emma, who lived nearby. "Emma, can you help me cover the plants?" he asked. Emma smiled and said, "Of course, Ben. Let's work together!"

Together, they gently covered the plants with a big sheet. The clouds rumbled, and the rain began to fall. Ben and Emma watched from the barn, happy that the vegetables were safe.

When the rain stopped, the sun peeked out from behind the clouds. Ben felt relieved. The farm looked fresh and clean, and the air smelled sweet.

Later, Ben found a surprise near the barn door. It was a collection of drawings and messages from children in the village. They had drawn pictures of the farm, animals, and even Ben with his big straw hat. One message said, "Thank you, Farmer Ben, for taking care of us!"

Ben felt warm inside. He knew that farming was important because it helped feed people. He smiled as he looked at the drawings, feeling proud of his work.

As the sun set, Ben sat on his porch, watching the sky turn pink and orange. He felt grateful for the farm, the animals, and his friends. He knew that every season brought new challenges, but with care and love, everything would grow just right.

And so, Ben the farmer, with his gentle heart and strong hands, continued to care for the land, the animals, and the people, knowing that each day was a new adventure.
