Lily loved winter. She loved the snowflakes. They danced softly in the air. “Look at the snowflakes!” Lily giggled. “They are so pretty!”

One sunny morning, Lily went outside. She wore her warm red coat and fluffy white boots. The ground was covered in soft, white snow. “Crunch, crunch!” Lily stepped in the snow. It felt cold and fun!

Lily saw her friend Max. He was building a snowman. “Hi, Max!” said Lily. “Can I help?”

“Yes!” Max smiled. “Let's make a big snowman!” They rolled big snowballs. “Roll, roll, roll!” Lily said. “It's big! Look at it!”

Next, they found two buttons for the snowman's eyes. “Buttons, buttons!” Lily laughed. “And a carrot for the nose!” Max grabbed a long carrot from his pocket. “Here you go!” He placed it on the snowman.

They stepped back. “Wow! Our snowman looks happy!” Lily clapped her hands. “Happy snowman!”

Afterward, they went to see the Christmas market. “Look at the lights, Max!” Lily pointed. The lights sparkled like stars. “So beautiful!”

They saw a big tree covered in shining ornaments. “Let's take a picture!” Max said. They stood by the tree and smiled big smiles.

Then, they shared warm cocoa. “Mmm! Chocolate!” said Lily. “Yummy!”

As the sun began to set, Lily felt warm inside. “Winter is fun!” she said. Max nodded. “Yes, it is! Let's play again tomorrow!”

Lily and Max waved goodbye. “See you soon!” they said.

Winter was magical, and Lily loved sharing it with her friend. Together, they made happy memories in the soft, white snow.
