In the chilly woods, a little dragon named Puff woke up. "Brrr," he said, feeling the cool air. Snowflakes were falling softly, covering everything in white. Puff stretched his wings and decided to take a walk.

As Puff waddled through the snow, he saw his friend, Squeaky the squirrel. "Hi, Squeaky!" Puff called. "Hello, Puff!" Squeaky replied, shaking snow off his fluffy tail. "Let's play in the snow!" Puff suggested. "Yes!" Squeaky chirped happily.

They made tiny snowballs and tossed them gently to each other. Puff giggled as one snowball tickled his nose. Then, they made snow angels, flapping their arms and tails. Puff's wings made a big, beautiful shape in the snow.

After playing, Puff and Squeaky felt chilly. "Let's find something warm," Puff said. They walked to Granny Owl's cozy treehouse. Granny Owl was knitting by the fire. "Come in, little ones," she hooted kindly.

Inside, the smell of baking cookies made Puff's tummy rumble. "Would you like some cookies?" Granny Owl asked. "Yes, please!" Puff and Squeaky sat on soft cushions by the warm fire. The cookies were sweet and tasty.

As they munched, Granny Owl told stories about winter. "Winter is a special time," she said. "It brings us together to stay warm and happy." Puff felt cozy and smiled at Squeaky.

When it was time to go, Granny Owl gave them each a soft scarf. "Thank you, Granny Owl," Puff and Squeaky said. The scarves were so warm and snuggly!

Walking home, Puff and Squeaky admired the sparkling snow. The world was so quiet and calm. They knew winter was a time for fun and friends.

And so, Puff and Squeaky learned that winter is not just cold, but full of warmth inside.
