Tommy sees the snow. It is white and soft. "Look, Mommy!" he says. "Snow!" Mommy smiles. "Yes, Tommy. It is winter," she says. Tommy likes winter. It is cold outside. He wears his red hat and blue boots.

At school, Tommy sees snowflakes. "Pretty!" says Tommy. Miss Anna, his teacher, nods. "Let's make winter art," she says. Tommy sits at the table. He takes white paper and blue paint. He makes snow with his fingers. "Snow is cold," Tommy says. Miss Anna laughs. "Yes, but it is fun," she says.

Tommy's friends join him. They make trees with green paint. "Trees in snow," says Mia. Tommy claps. "Good job, Mia!" he says. The classroom is full of winter pictures. Tommy feels happy.

After school, Tommy shows Mommy his art. "Wow, my little artist!" she says. Tommy smiles big. Winter is fun, he thinks. It is cold, but full of joy.
