“It's part of the carnival this year! The teachers have hidden clues all over the school, leading to a grand prize,” Max explained, wiping crumbs from his chin. “We should totally find it!”
“Absolutely! But first, let's join the others in the gym to help with the decoration,” Leo suggested.

“What's that?” Max asked, peering over Leo's shoulder.

At the summit, he spotted something glimmering underneath a nearby table. It was a note!
“Clue number one!” he exclaimed, pulling it from beneath the tablecloth.

Leo quickly tucked the note into his pocket and slid down the inflatable slide, racing to the archway where colorful balloons bobbed in the breeze.

“No! We were just about to check underneath the arch,” Mia replied, her brow furrowed in concentration.

As they pulled the streamers aside, another note appeared!
“Clue number two!” Max shouted, snatching it up.
“We're on a roll!” Mia cheered, and they gathered closer to read.
“To find the next treasure, follow the music's cheer. Dance with the clowns, for the clue will be near.”
“That doesn't sound too hard!” Max laughed. “Let's go find some clowns!”
They followed the sound of music to a lively corner, where colorful clowns danced and twirled, juggling colorful balls and making balloon animals.
“Excuse me!” Leo called, stepping forward. “We're looking for a clue! Can you help us?”
The clowns looked at each other and grinned. “Only if you can dance with us!” one of them replied, wiggling his eyebrows.

“The candy booth!” Max shouted, and they dashed toward the sugary paradise, their mouths watering at the thought of all the delicious goodies.

Arriving at the candy booth felt like stepping into a dream. Everywhere they looked, there were colorful jars filled with jellybeans, lollipops, and chocolate treats. The sweet aroma filled the air, making their stomachs rumble.

“Mrs. Jenkins!” Mia realized. “She always wears those round glasses!”
