Tommy sees a squirrel. The squirrel has a big tail. "Hello, Squirrel!" says Tommy. The squirrel is busy. The squirrel finds a nut. "Nut for winter," says the squirrel. The squirrel hides the nut. "Safe nut," says the squirrel.
Tommy walks on. Tommy sees a bird. The bird is red. "Hello, Bird!" says Tommy. The bird hops. The bird sings. "Winter song," sings the bird. "Happy song," says Tommy.
Tommy feels the cold. Tommy laughs. "Winter is fun!" says Tommy. Tommy's mommy hugs him. "Warm hug," says Mommy. Tommy smiles. "Happy winter," says Tommy.
Tommy and Mommy go home. "Bye-bye, snow," says Tommy. "Bye-bye, friends," says Mommy. They are happy. Winter is nice. Winter is fun.
