Chapter 1: A Little Problem
Tommy was a curious little boy who loved to play in the park near his house. Every day after school, he would run to the park with a big smile on his face. The trees, the flowers, and the singing birds made him feel happy and alive. One sunny afternoon, as Tommy was playing with his toy car, he noticed something unusual.
"Why is there so much trash here?" he wondered, looking around. There were plastic bottles, candy wrappers, and paper cups scattered on the green grass. Tommy felt sad. "Oh no! This park is not as pretty as it was yesterday," he said to himself.
Tommy decided to talk to his teacher, Miss Green, about the problem. The next morning at school, he raised his hand and said, "Miss Green, the park is full of trash. It's not nice." Miss Green listened carefully and replied, "Thank you for telling me, Tommy. We can do something about it."
Chapter 2: The Plan
Miss Green gathered the class and said, "Today, we will learn about taking care of our environment. We can all help to keep our park clean and beautiful." The children were excited and wanted to help. Miss Green had a plan.
"We will have a Park Cleanup Day this Saturday," she announced. "We will pick up trash and make the park lovely again!" Tommy and his friends cheered. "Yes, we can do it!" they shouted.
Miss Green explained, "We will need gloves, trash bags, and lots of energy. Remember, every little bit helps." The children nodded in agreement, feeling ready and motivated to take action.
Chapter 3: Cleanup Day
On Saturday morning, Tommy woke up early. He put on his favorite green shirt and his lucky socks. "Today is the day!" he said happily. When he arrived at the park, he saw Miss Green and his classmates waiting with gloves and trash bags.
"Let's start cleaning!" Miss Green said with a smile. Tommy and his friends began picking up trash, one piece at a time. "Here's a bottle," Tommy said as he put it in the bag. "And here is a wrapper," his friend Lily said, joining him. Working together, they cleaned and chatted, making the task fun.
The sun was shining, and everyone was busy. Miss Green clapped her hands and said, "You are all doing great! The park is looking much better." Tommy felt proud. He knew they were making a difference.
Chapter 4: A Beautiful Change
By lunchtime, the park was clean and beautiful once more. Tommy looked around and smiled. "We did it!" he said excitedly. The grass was green, the air was fresh, and the birds were singing again. Miss Green gathered the children and said, "You have done an amazing job! Look how pretty the park is now."
"Thank you, Miss Green," Tommy said. "I learned that we can all help the Earth." His friends nodded, feeling proud of their work. Miss Green replied, "That's right, Tommy. Every small step counts, and together we can make a big change."
Tommy looked at his friends and said, "Let's keep our park clean every day!" Everyone agreed and promised to take care of their environment.
From that day on, Tommy and his friends would remind each other, "Remember to pick up trash and take care of our planet!" They felt happy knowing they could make a positive difference.
With smiles on their faces, they ran off to play, knowing their park would be a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy.
