One snowy morning, Little Fox woke up. "Oh my!" said Little Fox. "My Christmas cookies are gone!" In their place, there were carrots. Little Fox blinked. "Who did that?" he wondered.

Suddenly, a giggle came from behind the tree. It was the Christmas Elf! "Ho ho! I like carrots!" said the Elf, with a cheeky grin.

Little Fox laughed. "You like to play jokes!" he said. "Yes, yes!" said the Elf. "I make Christmas fun!"

Together, they found toys on the roof, socks on the tree, and hats for the snowmen. "Silly Elf!" said Little Fox. "You make me laugh!"

The Elf danced around. "I just want smiles for Christmas!" he said. Little Fox nodded. "With you, it's a joyful day!"

And so, they played and laughed, making Christmas merry and bright.
