Chapter 1: The Big Idea
Tommy was a little boy with a big smile. He loved playing with his sister, Lily. One sunny morning, Tommy had a great idea. "Let's make a gift for Mommy!" he said, jumping up and down.
Lily clapped her hands. "Yes! A special gift!" she agreed. They both ran to the craft box, which was full of colorful paper, glue, and shiny stickers.
"What should we make?" asked Tommy, scratching his head.
Lily thought for a moment. "A picture! A big, funny picture!"
Tommy nodded. "Yes, a picture with lots of colors!"
They spread out all the paper on the floor. Tommy grabbed a blue crayon. "I will draw a big sun!" he said, drawing a big circle.
Lily giggled. "I will make a rainbow!" She picked up a red crayon and started drawing wobbly lines.
Chapter 2: The Silly Surprise
As they colored, Tommy and Lily started to giggle. "Look, the sun has a funny face!" Tommy laughed, adding eyes and a smile to the sun.
Lily giggled even more. "And the rainbow is dancing!" she said, making wavy lines with her crayons.
Suddenly, Tommy had another idea. "Let's add some animals!" he suggested.
Lily nodded excitedly. "Yes! A silly chicken!" she said, drawing a chicken with big, round eyes.
Tommy drew a dog with floppy ears. "And a happy dog!" he added.
The picture was looking very funny. Colors were everywhere, and the animals looked silly and happy.
Chapter 3: Mommy's Gift
When the picture was finished, Tommy and Lily looked at it proudly. "It's perfect!" said Tommy.
Lily nodded. "Mommy will love it!" she agreed.
They carefully picked up the picture and carried it to the living room. "Mommy, we have a surprise for you!" Tommy shouted.
Mommy came in, smiling. "Oh, what is it?" she asked.
Tommy and Lily held up the picture. "Ta-da!" they said together.
Mommy looked at the picture and laughed. "This is the funniest, happiest picture I've ever seen!" she said, hugging them both.
Tommy and Lily giggled. "It's a special gift for you!" said Lily.
Mommy hung the picture on the wall. "Thank you, my little artists," she said, smiling warmly.
Tommy and Lily felt very happy. Their silly picture was a big success, and they knew Mommy loved it very much. And from then on, whenever they wanted to have fun, they knew just what to do—make a big, funny, colorful mess together!
