Chapter 1: Summer Begins

One sunny morning, Max woke up in his bed. The sun was shining through the window. Max smiled. Today was the first day of summer! Max jumped out of bed. He ran to find his friends, Leo and Ben.

Max opened the door and called out, “Leo! Ben! Summer is here!”

Leo came running with his red hat. “Hello, Max! I am ready for summer!” said Leo.

Ben waved from his blue scooter. “Hi, friends! Let's play today!” said Ben.

Max, Leo, and Ben were best friends. They liked to play together every day. Their houses were close, and their gardens were big and green.

Max said, “Let's make this summer special! Let's do something fun every day.”

Leo clapped his hands. “Yes! What can we do today?”

Ben smiled. “We can build a tent in the garden! A summer tent!”

Max and Leo cheered, “Yes, let's build a tent!”

Together, the boys found some big sheets. Max's mom gave them some clothespins and pillows. The three friends worked together. Leo held one side of the sheet. Max pulled the sheet over the table. Ben pinned the corners with clothespins.

Max said, “We are a good team. We all help.”

Leo nodded. “We are building together. It is fun.”

Ben laughed. “Let's go inside our tent!”

Inside the tent, the boys sat on the soft pillows. They laughed and told stories. The tent was cool and shady. The summer sun was warm outside.

“Let's have a picnic in here,” said Max.

“Good idea!” said Ben.

“Yay!” said Leo.

They asked Max's mom for some snacks. She brought them little sandwiches, apple slices, and cold water.

The boys shared the snacks in their tent. They smiled and ate together.

“We made our own summer house,” said Max.

“We can play here every day,” said Leo.

Ben wrapped himself in a blanket and giggled. “This is the best summer ever,” he said.

Chapter 2: Summer Adventures

Every morning, Max, Leo, and Ben thought of something new to do. One day, they made boats out of paper and floated them in a big bowl of water. Another day, they played with bubbles, running and laughing in the garden.

One sunny afternoon, Max had an idea. “Let's make something special. Let's have a summer festival in the garden!”

Leo's eyes were big and bright. “A festival?” he asked.

“Yes!” said Max. “We can make games and decorations. We can invite our family.”

Ben jumped up and down. “I want to help! I want to make decorations!”

The boys worked together. Max found some colored paper and made flags. Leo drew happy faces and cut out stars. Ben made a sign that said “Summer Festival!” with big, bright letters.

They made a ring toss game with bottles and hoops. They made a race path with little cones. They put their tent up again and put soft blankets inside.

At the festival, Max's mom and Leo's dad came to play. Everyone clapped and cheered. The boys played games together. They tossed rings and ran fast. They laughed and had fun.

Max's mom said, “You boys worked very well together. You made a wonderful festival!”

Max smiled. “We are a team. We help each other.”

Leo said, “We like to do things together.”

Ben hugged his friends. “Summer is fun because we share.”

When the sun started to set, everyone sat in the tent. They shared cookies and talked about their favourite part of the day.

“I liked the ring toss,” said Max.

“I liked making the decorations,” said Ben.

“I liked being with my friends,” said Leo.

The friends were happy. Their hearts felt warm and full.

Chapter 3: Summer Memories

At the end of the summer, Max, Leo, and Ben sat in their tent one last time. The sun was soft and golden. The garden was quiet.

Max said, “I am glad we played together every day.”

Leo nodded. “We made good memories.

Ben smiled. “I will always remember our summer tent and our festival.”

Max hugged Leo and Ben. “We can make new memories next summer, too.”

The three friends held hands. They looked at their garden and their tent. They felt happy and safe.

Summer was almost over, but Max, Leo, and Ben knew they would always be friends. They learned that working together and sharing makes everything better. Every day was special with friends by your side.

As the sun went down, the boys said, “Thank you, summer. We love you.”

And every summer after, Max, Leo, and Ben made new memories—together.
