In a bright and colorful city called Sparkletown, there lived a super-heroine named Starbeam. She wore a shiny cape that sparkled like the stars and had boots that bounced like springs. Starbeam was known for her cheerful smile and her helpful heart. She loved to zoom around the city and help her friends.

One sunny day, Starbeam was flying through the sky when she saw something unusual. The big clock tower in the middle of Sparkletown had stopped ticking! "Oh no!" thought Starbeam. "If the clock doesn't work, the town will be confused all day!"

Starbeam swooped down to the clock tower. She stood tall and brave as she looked up at the big hands of the clock. They were stuck at twelve! She scratched her head and thought, "What can I do to fix this?"

Just then, Starbeam heard a tiny voice. "Hello, Starbeam!" It was Tilly the Timekeeper, a small, friendly bird who lived inside the clock. "The clock has a little hiccup," said Tilly. "Can you help me fix it?"

"Of course, Tilly!" said Starbeam with a bright smile. "Let's work together!"

Starbeam and Tilly climbed inside the tower. It was a little dusty, but not dark and scary. Starbeam used her glowing bracelet to light up the room. "Look, there's a spring that's popped out of place," Tilly chirped.

Starbeam giggled. "Oh dear, it looks like the clock has caught a spring cold!" She gently pushed the spring back with her super strength. "There we go!"

The clock ticked happily. Tilly fluffed her feathers and sang, "Tick-tock, tick-tock, the clock is back on the clock!"

Starbeam and Tilly laughed together. "Thank you, Starbeam!" said Tilly with a flutter.

Starbeam waved her hand. "No problem, Tilly. I'm always here to help my friends!"

As she flew back into the sky, the people of Sparkletown looked up and cheered. "Hooray for Starbeam!" they shouted. She waved back, her heart full of joy.

The sun was setting, painting the sky orange and pink. Starbeam knew it was time for bed. She landed softly on her cozy cloud and snuggled under her warm blanket. "Goodnight, Sparkletown," she whispered. "I'll always be here to keep you safe."

And with that, Starbeam drifted off to sleep, dreaming of more adventures and happy days in her beloved Sparkletown.
