A smiling, kind female police officer in a bright blue uniform with a shiny silver badge kneels and reaches out reassuringly to a boy, Max, about 5 with short brown hair whose worried face brightens as he hugs a red teddy bear, standing to the officer’s right; a woman of about 40, a lost-and-found clerk with tied blond hair, holds the red teddy in front of a small wooden counter with shelves of colorful boxes behind her; the scene is a sunny afternoon park with a large green lawn, a green bench under a big round-leaved oak, gravel paths and a small wooden Lost & Found shed near a gate; main situation: the officer helps the boy recover his red teddy — warm, centered composition, bright colors, simple shapes and bold outlines in a foam-sticker style. report a problem with this image

Sophie is a kind police officer. Every morning, she puts on her bright blue uniform and her shiny badge. Sophie waves to her neighbors. “Good morning!” she says with a smile. Sophie loves to help people.

Today, Sophie goes to the big park. She sees children playing, people walking their dogs, and families having picnics. Sophie walks slowly down the path. She looks at everything carefully. Her job is to help everyone stay safe.

Sophie hears a small voice. “Excuse me, Officer Sophie,” says a little boy named Max. He looks worried. “I can't find my red teddy bear. I think I lost it.” Max's eyes are big. Sophie kneels down. “Don't worry, Max,” she says kindly. “Let's see how I can help.”

Sophie takes out her notebook. She writes “red teddy bear.” Sophie smiles at Max. “Can you show me where you last saw your bear?” Max points to a green bench under a big tree.

Sophie and Max walk together to the bench. They look around. No teddy bear. Sophie asks, “Did you look in your backpack?” Max shakes his head. Sophie and Max check the backpack. Still no teddy bear.

Sophie stands tall. “I know what to do!” she says. “Let's visit the lost and found office.” Sophie holds Max's hand. They walk to the small office near the park gate. On the door, there is a big sign: “Lost and Found.”

Inside, a friendly lady greets them. “Hello, Officer Sophie! Hello, Max!” she says. Sophie explains, “Max lost his red teddy bear. Did anyone bring it here?” The lady nods. She goes to a shelf and brings back a soft, red teddy bear.

Max's eyes shine. “That's it! That's my bear!” he says, hugging his teddy tight. Sophie smiles. “See, Max? Police officers help people find what is lost. We always try to help.”

Max thanks Sophie. He waves and walks back to his family, holding his teddy bear close. Sophie feels happy. She helped someone today.

Sophie walks through the park. She checks if everyone is safe and smiling. She likes being a police officer because she helps people every day. The sun is warm. Sophie thinks, “I did a good job.”

Now it is time to rest. Sophie goes home, feeling proud and calm. She knows tomorrow, she will help again.
