In a snowy park, a little boy named Leo was very excited. “Snow! Snow!” he giggled. The ground was white, and the trees wore fluffy white coats.
“Let's play in the snow!” said Leo's mom, smiling. “We can make a snowman!”
“Yes! A snowman!” shouted Leo, jumping with joy. They rolled big snowballs. “Round and round!” Leo said, as they made the bottom of the snowman.
“Now the middle!” his mom said. Leo helped. “Push, push!” he giggled. The snow was cold and soft.
“Now the head!” Leo cheered. They placed a small snowball on top. “Look, he is tall!”
“What does he need?” asked Mom. “A hat?”
“Hat!” Leo clapped. They found a red scarf and put it around the snowman's neck. “He's warm!” Leo laughed.
“Now we need eyes,” said Mom. “How about some buttons?”
“Buttons!” Leo agreed. They found two shiny buttons. “Eyes!” he pointed.
“Perfect!” Mom said. “He looks happy!”
Leo waved at the snowman. “Hi, snowman!”
“Let's slide down the hill!” Mom suggested. They ran to the hill, the snow crunching under their boots. “Ready, set, go!” Mom said.
“Whee!” Leo shouted as they slid on a sled. He laughed and laughed. “Again! Again!”
“Okay!” Mom said, and they went again. Leo felt the wind on his face. It was chilly and fun!
“Winter is so much fun!” Leo exclaimed.
“Yes, it is!” Mom smiled. “We can play together in the snow.”
“Together!” Leo echoed.
The sun began to set, and the sky turned pink. “Time to go home,” said Mom.
“Home!” Leo said happily, holding his mom's hand. They walked back, leaving footprints in the snow.
“Tomorrow, we will play more!” Leo said, dreaming of new adventures.
“More fun in the snow!” Mom agreed, smiling.
And off they went, ready for more winter joy.
