Porky the pig wanted to throw a big party. He wiggled his curly tail with excitement. “I need balloons!” he squealed.
First, he asked Ellie the elephant. “Ellie, can you help me blow up balloons?”
“Of course!” trumpeted Ellie. But when she blew, the balloon went too big! POP! “Oops!” Ellie giggled.
Next, Porky visited Benny the bunny. “Benny, can we make yummy snacks?”
“Let's make carrot cakes!” said Benny. They mixed flour and carrots. But Benny sneezed! “ACHOO!” The flour flew everywhere!
“Oh no!” squeaked Porky, covered in white dust. They both laughed.
Then, Porky ran to Leo the lion. “Leo, can you help me with music?”
“Roar! Yes!” Leo said. He played his guitar, but the strings twanged too loudly. “BANG!” went the guitar. “Uh-oh!” Porky chuckled.
It was time for the party! The jungle animals gathered. “Surprise!” shouted Porky. But where were the balloons?
Ellie said, “I'm sorry, I popped them!”
And where were the snacks?
Benny said, “I made a mess!”
Porky smiled widely. “That's okay! Let's dance!”
Leo strummed his guitar. The animals danced and laughed. They twirled and spun. Porky's belly shook with giggles.
Then, they played a game called “Pass the Banana.” They tossed bananas around. Benny missed and hit Ellie!
“Oops!” squealed Benny.
“It's okay!” laughed Ellie.
The sun began to set. Porky said, “This is the best party!”
“Yes!” cheered the animals.
They all sat down, tired but happy. Porky looked around at his friends. “Next time, let's make it even bigger!”
And they all laughed together.
