Crow woke up with a funny idea. “Today, I will wear a hat!” said Crow. He looked around. No hat. He saw Leaf. “Hello, Leaf! Can I be your hat?” Leaf giggled, “Yes, Crow!” Crow put Leaf on his head. The wind whooshed. Leaf flew away. “Oh no!” laughed Crow.
Crow saw Squirrel. Squirrel had a big acorn cap. “Hello, Squirrel! Can I wear your cap?” Squirrel grinned, “Try it, Crow!” Crow put the cap on. It was too small. “Oops! My head is too big!” Crow and Squirrel laughed.
Crow saw Frog. Frog had a lily pad. “Hello, Frog! Can I borrow your lily pad?” Frog said, “Yes, Crow!” Crow put the lily pad on his head. SPLAT! Water dripped everywhere. “Oh! My head is all wet!” Crow giggled. Frog and Squirrel giggled too.
Crow saw Bunny. Bunny had a carrot. “Hello, Bunny! Can I use your carrot as a hat?” Bunny laughed, “Carrots are for munching, not for hats!” Bunny gave Crow a flower. “Try this!” said Bunny.
Crow put the flower on his head. Everyone clapped. “You look so fancy!” said Leaf, floating back down.
Crow danced. The flower hat wiggled. Everyone cheered. Crow felt happy and silly.
It is fun to try new things with friends.
