Molly the marmot was very hungry. She looked at her friend Benny the bunny.
“Munch munch! What's for lunch?” asked Benny, wiggling his nose.
“I want carrots!” said Molly.
“Carrots?” Benny giggled. “You're a marmot!”
Molly shrugged. “I like them!”
Then, they saw Lucy the squirrel. “Hi, Lucy! Do you have carrots?” asked Molly.
Lucy laughed, “I have nuts! Want some?”
“No nuts! Carrots!” Molly squeaked.
Benny said, “Let's find carrots!”
They hopped and scurried. “Look! A garden!” squealed Molly.
“Yay!” cheered Benny.
They jumped in. “Carrots! Yum!”
Molly took a big bite. “Crunch, crunch!”
Benny laughed, “You're silly, Molly!”
“Maybe,” said Molly, with a big carrot smile.
