Milo the marmot wakes up with a wiggle. Milo says, “Good morning, toes!” His toes wiggle back. Milo rolls out of bed. “Today, I find something silly!” Milo giggles. He puts on his tiny red hat.
Milo tiptoes outside. He sees Daisy the duck. “Quack, quack, Milo! Look, I found a shoe!” Daisy puts the shoe on her head. Milo laughs, “That's not a hat, Daisy!” Daisy wobbles and the shoe falls. SPLAT! Quack-giggle!
Milo skips to Benny the bunny. “Hop, hop, Milo! I found a carrot phone!” Benny says, “Ring, ring! Hello?” Milo answers, “Hello, Bunny! This is Marmot!” They both giggle and say, “Beep beep!”
Milo twirls around a tree. He sees a shiny puddle. “Hello, puddle!” Milo shouts. He jumps. SPLASH! Water everywhere! Milo is wet. He shakes, and water goes WOOSH! Daisy and Benny jump in, too. SPLASH, SPLASH!
They all laugh. Milo sneezes, “Achoo!” Daisy puts the shoe on Milo's head. “Now you're a shoe-marmot!” says Daisy. Milo giggles and says, “I am the silliest marmot!”
The sun sets. Milo yawns. “Goodnight, toes.” Milo's toes wiggle goodnight.
