Chapter 1: A Sunny Day with Mia and Lily

One sunny morning, Mia woke up with a big smile. Mia was three years old. She loved to play. Mia had a very best friend named Lily. Lily lived next door. Every day, Mia and Lily played together. They laughed, they shared, and they hugged.

“Mama, can I play with Lily?” Mia asked with a happy voice.

“Yes, sweetie,” said Mama with a warm hug.

Mia put on her red shoes and went outside. Lily was waiting with her favorite yellow ball.

“Hi, Mia!” said Lily.

“Hi, Lily!” said Mia.

“Let's play ball!” Lily said.

“Yes, let's play!” Mia said.

They rolled the ball. They kicked the ball. They giggled and ran on the soft grass. The sun felt warm, and the sky was blue. Mia felt happy with her friend.

Chapter 2: The Little Problem

After a while, Mia wanted to hold the yellow ball.

“Can I hold the ball, Lily?” Mia asked.

Lily shook her head. “No, it's my turn now,” she said.

Mia felt sad. She wanted to play too. Mia tried to take the ball, but Lily held it tight. The ball slipped and rolled away. Mia and Lily both looked at the ball. Then, Lily looked at Mia with a frown. Mia's eyes felt wet.

“I wanted to play too,” Mia said softly.

Lily looked at Mia. She saw Mia was sad.

“I'm sorry, Mia,” said Lily. “You can have the ball now.”

Mia smiled a little. “Thank you, Lily,” she said. “Let's play together.”

Lily nodded. “Let's roll the ball together!”

So, Mia and Lily rolled the ball together, side by side. They laughed and hugged.

Chapter 3: Friends Again

Mia and Lily sat in the soft grass.

“I love playing with you,” said Mia.

“I love playing with you too,” said Lily.

“Sometimes we share. Sometimes we wait. That's what friends do,” said Mia.

“Yes, friends help each other,” said Lily.

Mia smiled. “Friends say sorry. Friends forgive.”

Lily hugged Mia. “You are my best friend,” she said.

Mia hugged her back. “You are my best friend too,” she said.

Mia and Lily played until the sun went down. They were happy. They were kind. They were friends, always.

And that is the magic of friendship.
