On a bright, snowy morning, a little boy named Max woke up. Max was one year old. He looked out the window. Everything was white!
“Wow!” Max said. “Snow!”
Max jumped out of bed. He was so excited! He put on his cozy hat. “On goes the hat!” he giggled. Next, he wore his warm mittens. “Mittens on my hands!” he cheered. Then, he slipped into his soft boots. “Boots on my feet!” he clapped.
Max ran outside. The snow was fluffy and cold. “Snow is fun!” he shouted. He took a big step. “Crunch, crunch!” went the snow under his boots. Max loved the sound!
Max saw a furry bunny hopping by. “Hello, bunny!” he waved. The bunny twitched its nose. “Brrr, it's cold!” said the bunny. Max smiled. “You have a warm fur coat!”
Max watched the bunny jump. “Jump, bunny, jump!” he laughed. The bunny jumped high! “Hop, hop, hop!”
Max wanted to play too. He picked up a snowball. “Snowball in my hand!” he said. He tossed it in the air. “Whoosh!” The snowball fell softly.
Max and the bunny played together. They rolled in the snow. They made a little snowman. “Look, a snowman!” Max cheered. “He has a hat too!”
As the sun began to set, Max waved goodbye to the bunny. “See you tomorrow!” he said.
Max went inside, happy and warm. Winter was wonderful!
And that night, Max snuggled in his bed. “I love winter,” he whispered, dreaming of snow and bunnies.
