Once upon a time, there were three little friends named Lily, Max, and Sam. They were all four years old and loved playing together. One sunny day, they were at the playground.

Lily wanted to go on the slide. She climbed up, but then she saw a big boy. He was standing at the top, looking a little scary. Lily felt her tummy twist. She was scared.

Lily climbed back down and sat on the bench. Her friends, Max and Sam, came over. "Lily, do you want to play?" asked Max.

Lily shook her head. "I'm scared," she said quietly.

"Why are you scared?" asked Sam.

"The big boy at the slide," Lily whispered.

Max and Sam looked at each other. "Let's tell Miss Sara," said Max. Miss Sara was their teacher, and she was very kind.

They found Miss Sara under the big tree. "Miss Sara," said Sam, "Lily is scared of the big boy on the slide."

Miss Sara smiled warmly. "Thank you for telling me," she said. "Lily, it's okay to feel scared. Let's go talk to the big boy together."

Holding hands, they walked to the slide. The big boy saw Miss Sara and smiled. He wasn't scary at all. "Hello," he said, "my name is Tom."

Miss Sara spoke softly, "Tom, this is Lily. She wants to play too."

Tom nodded. "You can go first, Lily," he said kindly.

Lily felt a little better. She climbed up the slide again. This time, she wasn't scared. She slid down with a big smile.

Max and Sam cheered. "Yay, Lily!"

Lily laughed. "Thank you, Miss Sara. Thank you, Tom."

Miss Sara patted Lily's shoulder. "Remember, it's okay to ask for help. Friends and teachers are here for you."

Lily nodded. She felt happy and brave. She knew she could always share her worries, and that made her feel strong.

And so, Lily, Max, Sam, and Tom played happily together, enjoying the sunny day.
