Once upon a time, in a land of bright colors and soft clouds, there was a little girl named Lily. She was two years old, with curly hair like sunshine. One day, she found a shiny, magical star in her garden.
"Hello, star!" said Lily. "What are you doing here?"
The star twinkled and said, "I need your help! The moon is sad. Can you help me make her happy?"
"Yes! Let's go!" cheered Lily.
With a giggle, the star lifted Lily up into the sky. They flew past fluffy clouds and dancing rainbows.
“Look, Lily!” said the star. “There's the moon!”
The moon looked down, her face pale and blue. “Oh, dear star, I am sad. I have no light tonight.”
Lily thought hard. “Let's find some light!” she said. “We can gather fireflies!”
So, they flew to a field full of fireflies. “Hello, fireflies!” called Lily. “Can you help us?”
“Yes!” they buzzed. “We can share our light!”
The fireflies sparkled as they flew up, up to the moon. They danced around her, filling the sky with bright light.
“Thank you, little ones!” said the moon, smiling brightly now. “You made me happy!”
Lily clapped her hands. “Hooray!”
The star sparkled. “You are brave, Lily. You helped the moon!”
Lily smiled wide. “We did it together!”
And from that day on, Lily knew she could shine bright too, just like the stars and the moon.
"Goodnight, moon. Goodnight, star," whispered Lily as she drifted to sleep, dreaming of more adventures.
