On a warm, starry night, in the middle of Happy Zoo, lived a little ladybug named Lila. Lila had bright red wings with big, shiny black dots. She loved to dream and explore.
"Lila, what are you thinking?" asked Benny the squirrel.
"I want to fly to the moon!" said Lila.
"The moon?" giggled Benny. "That's far!"
Lila flapped her tiny wings. "I can try!"
Lila and Benny waddled over to the zoo gate, sneaking out, giggling all the way. The world outside was big and bright. Lila looked up at the moon, glowing like a big, friendly face.
"Lila, how will you get up there?" squeaked Benny, his tail twitching with excitement.
"With a swing!" said Lila, spotting a playground nearby. There was a big, twisty slide and swings that went high up.
Lila and Benny scurried to the swings. "Push, Benny, push!" cried Lila.
Benny pushed the swing, and Lila went higher and higher. "Wheee!" laughed Lila, her wings fluttering in the breeze.
"Almost at the moon, Lila!" called Benny.
Just then, a cloud passed over the moon. "Oh no, where did it go?" said Lila.
Benny shook his head. "The moon is hiding! Silly moon!"
Lila giggled. "The moon is playing peek-a-boo!"
They laughed and swung on, under the twinkling stars, dreaming of adventures and playing in the moonlight until they felt sleepy.
"Lila, let's go home," yawned Benny.
"Good idea," said Lila, feeling cozy and happy.
Back at Happy Zoo, they snuggled under leaves and whispered, "Tomorrow, more adventures."
"Yes!" said Benny, and they drifted into dreams of stars and swings and moonlit laughter.
