Chapter 1: A New Beginning

In a cozy, green forest, there lived a little wolf named Leo. Leo had soft, gray fur and bright, curious eyes. He loved to run through the trees, play with his friends, and howl at the moon. But one sunny morning, Leo felt a little different. Something was changing in his world.

“Good morning, Leo!” chirped his friend, Bella the bunny. She hopped up to him, her fluffy tail bouncing behind her. “Let's go explore the meadow!”

“I can't,” Leo said, his voice a little sad. “I have to talk to my parents first.”

Bella's ears perked up. “Okay! I'll wait for you!”

Leo took a deep breath and walked to the clearing where his mom and dad were sitting. They looked a bit worried, and Leo felt a flutter in his tummy.

“Mom, Dad, can I talk to you?” Leo asked, his voice small.

“Of course, Leo,” said his mom softly. “What's on your mind?”

“I noticed you both look sad. Is something wrong?” Leo's heart raced.

His dad sighed and said, “Well, Leo, we have some changes coming. Your mom and I won't be living together anymore.”

“Why?” Leo asked, his eyes wide. “Will I still see you both?”

“Yes, you will,” his mom replied gently. “We love you very much, and we will always be your parents. We just need to live in different places.”

Leo felt a mix of feelings. He wanted to be brave, but he also felt scared. “Will it be different?” he asked quietly.

“Yes, it will be different,” his dad said. “But we'll work together to make sure you feel safe and happy.”

Leo nodded slowly. He liked the idea of working together. “Okay,” he said, feeling a little better. “Can we talk more about it later?”

“Of course!” his mom smiled. “We can talk anytime you want.”

With a warm feeling in his heart, Leo thanked his parents and ran back to Bella. “Let's go explore the meadow!” he said, his voice brighter.

Chapter 2: Finding the Colors of Emotions

In the meadow, the flowers danced in the gentle breeze, swaying like happy little friends. Leo and Bella played and laughed, but Leo still felt a bit heavy inside. He thought about what his mom and dad had said.

“Are you okay, Leo?” Bella asked, noticing his quietness.

“I'm okay,” Leo replied, but his tail drooped a little. “I just have a lot of feelings. Sometimes I feel happy, and sometimes I feel sad.”

Bella thought for a moment. “Maybe we can paint our feelings!” she chirped excitedly.

“Paint our feelings?” Leo asked, tilting his head.

“Yes! Let's find colors that match how we feel!” Bella suggested.

Leo's eyes lit up. “That sounds fun! Let's do it!”

They gathered leaves, flowers, and berries from the meadow. They squished the berries to make bright red paint, and they used green leaves for a beautiful green color. Leo even found some blue flowers for the sky!

As they painted, they talked about their feelings.

“I'm using red for when I feel mad,” Bella said, splashing some paint on a rock.

“I'm using blue for when I feel sad,” Leo added, carefully painting a big circle.

“Let's use yellow for happy!” Bella laughed, mixing some bright colors.

As they painted, Leo felt lighter. “This is fun! I like using colors to show how I feel!”

“Me too!” Bella said, hopping up and down. “And remember, it's okay to feel different things!”

Leo nodded. “Yes! It's okay to feel happy, sad, or even mad. I can talk to my parents about it.”

Chapter 3: New Routines

After their colorful adventure, Leo went home. He felt excited to share his feelings with his parents. The next day, they all sat together to talk.

“Can we make a new plan?” Leo asked, his eyes sparkling. “I want to see both of you!”

His mom smiled and said, “That's a great idea, Leo! We can make a schedule. You will spend time with me and then with your dad.”

“Yes! I want to have special days with you both!” Leo exclaimed.

His dad nodded. “How about we call it Leo's Adventure Days? We can plan fun things to do!”

“Like what?” Leo asked, bouncing in his seat.

“Like going for a walk, having a picnic, or exploring new parts of the forest!” his mom suggested.

“Or painting again!” Bella added, peeking in through the window.

Leo laughed. “Yes! I love painting feelings!”

As the weeks went by, Leo followed his new routine. He had lots of fun with his mom and dad. On Mondays, he went to his mom's den, where they baked yummy berry pies together. On Wednesdays, he spent time with his dad, going on exciting hikes.

Each time they were together, they talked about their feelings. Leo learned that it was okay to share when he felt sad or happy. His parents listened and hugged him tight, making him feel loved.

Chapter 4: A Heart Full of Love

One sunny afternoon, Leo sat in his favorite spot by a bubbling stream. He watched the water sparkle in the sunlight and thought about everything he had learned.

“Hey, Bella!” he called. “Come sit with me!”

Bella hopped over and plopped down beside him. “What are you thinking about, Leo?”

“I'm thinking about how much I love my mom and dad,” Leo said, his heart warm. “Even if they don't live together, they will always be my family.”

Bella smiled. “That's wonderful, Leo! Love is strong, and it can help us feel better, even when things change.”

“Yes! I can use my colors and my words to show how I feel,” Leo said, feeling proud.

As the sun began to set, Leo and Bella watched the sky turn pink and orange. Leo felt happy and calm. He knew he could face anything as long as he had love, friends, and a way to express himself.

And so, Leo the little wolf learned that even when things change, love and communication can keep our hearts connected. With every howl at the moon, Leo felt stronger, braver, and ready for his next adventure.
