Three characters: Leo, a 4-year-old boy with short brown hair, round face and rosy cheeks, wearing an oversized blue-and-white striped shirt and yellow shorts, holding a red bucket at the left edge; Sam, a 4-year-old boy with tousled blond hair and green eyes, wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt and green shorts, holding an orange shovel to Leo's right and leaning toward a small sandcastle; Leo's mother, 30, with chestnut hair in a ponytail and a white-patterned summer dress, smiling behind them with a beige beach bag. Sunny beach with textured golden sand, small dunes, colorful umbrellas (red, yellow, green), calm blue sea with shimmering ripples, a few stylized seagulls, and wooden beach accessories. Main scene: the two boys march side by side in striped shirts, smiling—one with a bucket, the other with a shovel—while their mother watches proudly; joyful, bright colors, centered composition in a wooden toy diorama style with soft light and delicate shadows. report a problem with this image

Part 1: The Train to the Beach

Leo and Sam are best friends. They are both four years old. One sunny morning, Leo and Sam are going on a trip. They are going to the beach with Leo's mom. Leo is happy. Sam is happy too. They both hold hands and smile.

At the station, they see a big train. The train is blue and shiny. “Look, Sam! Our train is here!” says Leo. Sam nods. He feels excited. They climb on the train and sit by the window. The train starts to go. “Choo-choo!” says Sam. They watch the trees, houses, and cars go by.

Leo's mom gives them a snack. They share apple slices and crackers. “Thank you, Leo,” says Sam. “You're welcome,” says Leo. They giggle. Sharing is fun.

Soon, the train stops. “We are at the beach!” says Leo's mom. The boys jump with joy. They see the sand, the sea, and lots of umbrellas.

Part 2: The Striped Shirt Rule

Leo and Sam want to play in the sand, but Leo's mom says, “Wait, boys! Today, everyone at the beach must wear a striped shirt. It is the rule for the Beach Parade.

Leo looks at his shirt. It is red. Sam's shirt is green. They do not have stripes. Sam feels a little sad. Leo feels quiet, too.

But Leo's mom smiles. “Let's wait. Maybe we can borrow shirts.” The boys wait on a bench. They watch seagulls and waves. They sit very still and look around. Waiting is hard, but they try to be patient.

Soon, a kind lady comes. She has a basket of striped shirts. “Would you like to borrow these?” she asks. Leo and Sam nod. They both get blue and white striped shirts. They laugh and clap. Now they can join the parade!

Part 3: The Joy of Adventure

Leo and Sam walk on the sand in their new shirts. They see children building sandcastles and families sharing snacks. Leo shares his bucket with Sam. Sam lets Leo use his shovel. They help a smaller child build a big castle. Everyone smiles.

The parade begins. Everyone walks together and waves. The sun is warm. The boys feel proud. They waited their turn and it was worth it.

At the end of the day, Leo and Sam say goodbye to the sea. They are sleepy but happy. They have learned something new: waiting can be hard, but good things come when you wait and share with friends.

Leo hugs Sam. “I loved our adventure, says Sam. “Me too,” says Leo. The train takes them home, and they dream of more journeys and kind new friends.
