Freddy the Frog wanted to throw a party. "I want balloons! I want cake!" he croaked happily. "I will invite everyone!"
Freddy hopped to his friend, Benny the Bunny. "Benny, come help me!" he said with a big smile. "We are throwing a party!"
Benny's ears perked up. "A party? Yay!" he squeaked. "What can I do?"
"Blow up the balloons!" said Freddy. "Make them big and round!"
Benny began to blow. "Puff, puff, puff!" The first balloon went pop! "Oh no!" said Freddy, giggling. "Let's try again!"
Benny tried again. "Puff, puff, puff!" This time, the balloon grew big and floated away! "Bounce, bounce!" it danced in the sky.
"Come back!" shouted Freddy. Benny laughed. "Let's catch it later!"
Next, they hopped to Silly Sally the Squirrel. "Sally, we need cake!" Freddy said, bouncing on his little legs.
Sally's eyes sparkled. "I have nuts and berries! Let's make a berry cake!" she chirped.
Freddy clapped his webbed hands. "Oh, yes! Let's bake!" They mixed and mashed, splattered and sprinkled.
Finally, the cake was done—a big, berry-filled delight!
The day of the party came. "Ring-a-ding! Ding-a-ling!" went the bells. Animals gathered around. "Yay for Freddy!" they cheered.
Freddy jumped with joy. "Let's eat cake and dance!"
The cake was tasty, the balloons floated, and laughter filled the air. "What a fun party!" everyone sang.
Freddy smiled, and his heart felt warm. "What a wonderful day!" he croaked, surrounded by friends.
