Chapter 1: Wishing for a Magical Day
“Today is my birthday!” cheered Fluffy the little pink dragon, jumping out of bed with a big, wiggly giggle.
Fluffy looked around the room. There were sparkly balloons everywhere. “Oh! Balloons in the bedroom! Balloons in the bed! Balloons on my head!” giggled Fluffy, popping one by accident. “Oops! Pop goes the balloon! Pop goes the birthday!”
Fluffy skipped into the hallway and whispered, “I hope my birthday is the most magical birthday ever. I wish, I wish, I wish!” Fluffy closed her eyes tight and made her birthday wish, blowing a tiny puff of glittery smoke into the air.
Suddenly, a soft voice called, “Happy Birthday, Fluffy!” It was Sprout, the tiny green mouse with big ears and a bright yellow bow.
“Sprout! You're here!” laughed Fluffy.
“I brought you a present,” said Sprout, holding a shiny box almost as big as she was.
“A present! For me!” cheered Fluffy, clapping her claws.
Sprout grinned. “But you have to find it first! It's hidden somewhere in your house.”
Fluffy's eyes grew wide. “A birthday surprise hunt! Let's go, let's go!”
Chapter 2: Surprises Everywhere
Fluffy tiptoed into the kitchen. “Is there a surprise in the kitchen?” she asked.
Sprout wiggled her whiskers. “Maybe! Look and see!”
Fluffy peeked under the table. “Not here! Hello, table! Are you hiding a surprise?”
“Nope,” said Sprout, giggling.
Fluffy opened the cupboard. “Not here! Hello, cups! Are you hiding a surprise?”
“Nope,” giggled Sprout again.
Suddenly, a little voice squeaked from the window. “Happy Birthday, Fluffy!” It was Bumble the bee, buzzing with happy wings.
“Bumble!” Fluffy laughed. “You came to my party!”
“I brought honey cakes!” said Bumble. “Sticky, sweet, and yummy to eat!”
Fluffy clapped. “Hooray for honey cakes! Hooray for Bumble!”
Bumble zoomed in circles. “Let's look for the present together!”
Fluffy, Sprout, and Bumble tiptoed into the living room. The living room was full of streamers and shiny confetti.
“Do you see the present?” Fluffy asked.
Sprout pointed. “Maybe behind the big, soft chair!”
Fluffy peeked. “No present! Just my favorite pillow. Hello, pillow! Are you hiding a surprise?”
Bumble buzzed. “Maybe under the rainbow rug!”
Fluffy lifted up the rug. “No present! Hello, floor! Are you hiding a surprise?”
Everyone giggled. “Nope!” they all said together.
Chapter 3: The Magic Wish Comes True
Fluffy stopped and thought. “Where would a surprise hide on a magical birthday?”
Sprout whispered, “Let's look in your room again, Fluffy.”
All three friends hurried back to Fluffy's bedroom. The balloons were still everywhere. There was a shiny box on Fluffy's pillow!
“My pillow was hiding the surprise!” Fluffy cheered.
Sprout clapped her tiny paws. “Open it! Open it!”
Fluffy untied the sparkly bow. Inside was a tiny, shiny bell and a little note.
The note said: “Ring this bell and magic will come, because birthdays with friends are the very best ones!”
Fluffy rang the bell—ding-a-ling! Suddenly, the balloons floated and danced. The confetti spun like tiny stars. The honey cakes popped and sang, “Happy birthday, Fluffy! Happy birthday to you!”
Fluffy laughed and laughed. “This is the most magical birthday ever! Surprises in every room! Friends to play with! Songs and laughter!”
Sprout hugged Fluffy. “I'm glad your wish came true.”
Bumble buzzed, “Let's eat honey cake now!”
Fluffy smiled, her heart full of happiness. “Birthdays are best when friends share them. Thank you, Sprout! Thank you, Bumble! Thank you, magic!”
And all together, they danced and giggled, happy for every little birthday surprise.
