Part One: The Case of the Missing Sticker
It was a sunny morning in Tom's house. Tom was three years old. He had big, curious eyes and loved to find things. Tom was a little detective.
Tom was playing with his blocks. His teddy bear, Teddy, was sitting close, watching. Tom looked at his block tower and smiled. Then, he looked at his favorite sticker book. Every sticker was in its place. There were shiny stars, wiggly worms, and happy cats. But wait—Tom's favorite sticker, the rainbow truck, was gone!
Tom gasped. “Teddy! My rainbow truck sticker is missing!” he said. Teddy did not talk, but he listened very well.
Tom decided to find it. “I will be Detective Tom! Let's look for clues,” he said. He put on his blue cap. Now, he was ready for an adventure.
He crawled around the playmat. He looked under a soft pillow. No sticker. He peeked behind his toy box. Lots of dust bunnies, but no sticker. Tom didn't stop. Detective Tom had a job to do.
Just then, Tom's big sister Mia came in. “What are you doing, Tom?” she asked.
“My rainbow truck sticker is lost. I'm looking for clues,” said Tom.
Mia smiled. “Let's look together!”
Tom grinned. Having a helper made him feel brave.
Part Two: Clues Around the Room
Tom and Mia looked under the small red chair. They found a toy car and a building block. No sticker.
Tom checked his little table. He saw a shiny crayon. “Mia, do you see anything?” he asked.
Mia shook her head. “Not yet, Tom. Let's check the bookshelf.”
They walked to the bookshelf. Tom peeked behind his storybooks. There were no stickers. But then, Tom saw something on the bookshelf. It was a small, white corner peeking out.
Tom reached up high. His fingers touched something sticky. “It feels funny!” he giggled. Could it be? He pulled gently.
It was an old label from his coloring box. Tom looked at it and laughed. “It's not my sticker,” he said.
Mia giggled too. “Let's check your backpack, Tom.”
Tom ran to his little blue backpack. He opened every pocket. Out came a small truck, some pebbles, and a red crayon. Still, the rainbow truck sticker was not there.
Detective Tom sat down. He was a tiny bit sad. But Mia gave him a hug. “We will find it,” said Mia.
Suddenly, Tom's puppy, Pixie, came running in. Pixie was wagging her tail and barking happily. Tom watched her bounce and play. Then, Tom saw something colorful on Pixie's back.
Part Three: The Sticker Surprise
Tom got closer. “Pixie, come here, please,” Tom said in a soft voice. Pixie trotted over. On her back was something bright and shiny. Tom reached out gently. He peeled it off. It was his rainbow truck sticker!
Tom laughed. “Pixie found my sticker! Or maybe my sticker found Pixie!” he said. Mia and Tom both giggled.
“How did it get there?” asked Mia.
Tom thought very hard. “I played with Pixie this morning. I had my sticker book. Maybe the sticker was loose. Maybe the sticker jumped!” Tom giggled again. Jumping stickers sounded funny.
Pixie wagged her tail. She did not mind being part of the mystery.
Tom looked at his rainbow truck sticker. It was a bit furry now, but still perfect. Tom smiled. “Thank you, Pixie. And thank you, Mia. We did it together!”
Tom walked to his sticker book. He pressed the rainbow truck back in its place. It was a little crooked, but Tom liked it that way.
Mia clapped her hands. “Good job, Detective Tom!”
Tom felt proud. “Detectives help each other,” he said.
Pixie barked a happy bark. Teddy gave a silent hug. The mystery was solved.
That afternoon, Tom, Mia, and Pixie played together. Tom was happy. He knew that with a little help and a lot of looking, even a lost sticker could come home again.
Detective Tom smiled. Adventures were everywhere. And if he ever needed help, he knew his family would always be there.
