Part 1

In Bright Block City lives a grown-up man named Captain Bloop.

He wears shiny boots. Toot-toot! They honk.

He has a bouncy cape. Swish-swish!

His power is silly and sweet.

He makes big bubbles from his elbows. POP! POP!

Captain Bloop likes to parade down the street.

He wiggles. He spins. He points. TA-DA!

He stops by a smart trash can named Binny.

Binny blinks a little light. Beep-bop!

“Hello, Hero,” said Binny. “Nice twirl.”

“Watch this, Binny!” said Captain Bloop.

Elbow bubbles float up. POP! POP! POP!

Two pigeons clap their wings. Flap-flap!

A bus goes by. Vroom. Honk!

People giggle and wave. The city smiles.

Part 2

WHOOSH! A windy swirl jumps around the square.

Napkins fly. Cups roll. A banana peel wiggles. Wiggle-wiggle!

“Tiny Trouble!” said Captain Bloop.

“Team Time!” said Binny. “I can help. Open wide!”

Binny opens her lid. Clack!

Captain Bloop claps his elbows. Bubble net! Shimmer-shimmer!

“Catch the cups!” he said.

POP! The cups land soft.

“Zoom the napkins!” he said.

POP! The napkins float like snow.

Neighbors hurry in.

The baker brings a broom. Swish!

The twins hold a bag. Rustle!

A mail carrier points. “Over here!”

A giggly dog nudges the peel. Boop!

“Three, two, one—together!” said Binny. Beep-bop-bip!

Everyone steps in time.

Pat, plop, pop!

Pat, plop, pop!

Captain Bloop marches silly.

Left shoe: toot! Right shoe: toot!

The crowd laughs and follows the beat.

The windy swirl slows. The square feels calm.

Part 3

Binny counts, happy. “One cup. Two cups. Many cups! Great job!”

The banana peel bows. “Ta-da,” said Captain Bloop, and he helps it in. Plop!

The twins high-five. Slap!

The dog gets a chin rub. Ahhh.

“Hero,” said Binny, “we did it.”

“We all did it,” said Captain Bloop.

He points to everyone. “Us-us-us!”

The neighbors cheer together. “TA-DA!”

The city hums a soft song. Mmm-mmm.

Captain Bloop gives one last little show.

He makes gentle bubbles, slow and round.

They drift like tiny moons. Glow-glow.

“Good work, team,” he said.

“Good plan,” said Binny. Beep.

“Good bubbles,” said the baker.

“Good nap,” said the twins.

The wind sighs. Shhhh.

The street is neat and snug.

Captain Bloop salutes. Swish!

Binny blinks a cozy light.

“See you next time, Hero,” she said.

“See you next time, Team,” said Captain Bloop.

They smile. The bubbles pop softly.

POP… pop… pop.

All is tidy. All is happy. All is calm.
