The Little Bakery Adventure

One sunny morning, in a small village, there was a happy bakery. Inside the bakery, there was a kind baker named Mr. Ben. Mr. Ben wore a big white hat and a floury apron. He loved making bread and cakes.

“Good morning, little bread!” said Mr. Ben, patting the dough softly. “Today, we will make you fluffy and yummy!”

Just then, a little boy named Timmy peeked into the bakery. Timmy was curious and wanted to know what Mr. Ben was doing.

“Hello, Mr. Ben!” said Timmy, waving his hand. “What are you making?”

“Hello, Timmy!” Mr. Ben replied with a big smile. “I'm making bread. Would you like to help me?”

“Yes, please!” said Timmy, clapping his hands. “I want to learn how to make bread.”

“Wonderful!” said Mr. Ben. “First, we mix the flour and water. Can you pour this for me?”

Timmy nodded and carefully poured the water into the big bowl of flour.

“Mix, mix, mix!” sang Mr. Ben, stirring the dough. “Mix, mix, mix!” sang Timmy, watching closely.

Learning to Bake

“Now, we knead the dough,” said Mr. Ben, showing Timmy how to press and fold the dough. “Press and fold. Press and fold.”

“Press and fold,” repeated Timmy, giggling as the dough squished between his fingers.

“Good job, Timmy!” said Mr. Ben. “Next, we let the dough rest. It needs a little nap to grow.”

“A nap?” asked Timmy, tilting his head. “Dough takes naps?”

“Yes, it does,” chuckled Mr. Ben. “When it wakes up, it will be big and fluffy.”

“Wow!” said Timmy, eyes wide with wonder. “I can't wait to see it!”

While the dough was napping, Mr. Ben showed Timmy how to make sweet cookies.

“Cookies are fun,” said Mr. Ben, rolling the dough. “We can use cookie cutters to make fun shapes.”

Timmy picked a star-shaped cutter. “I like stars!” he said, pressing it into the dough.

“Stars are wonderful,” said Mr. Ben. “Now, let's put them in the oven to bake.”

“Bake, bake, bake!” sang Timmy, watching the cookies through the oven window. “Bake, bake, bake!” echoed Mr. Ben.

Sharing the Joy

Soon, the bakery was filled with the sweet smell of fresh cookies and warm bread.

“Time to check on our bread,” said Mr. Ben, lifting the cloth from the dough. It had grown big and puffy.

“Wow!” said Timmy, clapping his hands. “The dough woke up!”

“Yes, it did,” laughed Mr. Ben. “Now, let's bake it into a lovely loaf.”

As the bread baked, Timmy and Mr. Ben sat together, enjoying the smell.

“Baking is fun,” said Timmy with a happy smile.

“It is, Timmy,” agreed Mr. Ben. “Baking brings joy and makes people happy.”

When the bread was ready, Mr. Ben sliced a piece for Timmy. “Here you go, Timmy. Fresh bread, just for you.”

“Thank you, Mr. Ben!” said Timmy, taking a big bite. “It's so yummy!”

“You're welcome, Timmy,” said Mr. Ben, smiling warmly. “Thank you for helping me today.”

Timmy waved goodbye and skipped out of the bakery, his heart full of happiness and his belly full of bread.

And from that day on, Timmy loved visiting Mr. Ben, learning new things, and sharing the joy of baking.
