In the bright green jungle, a monkey named Max woke up. He stretched his long arms and yawned. “What a sunny day!” he chirped.
Suddenly, his friend Tilly the toucan flew down. “Max! Max! Let's play!” she called. Her colorful beak shone in the sun.
“Okay!” said Max, swinging from a vine. “What do you want to play?”
“I want to play hide and seek!” squawked Tilly, flapping her wings excitedly.
“Great idea!” giggled Max. “You hide, and I will count!”
“1… 2… 3…” Max began to count. Tilly flew away to find a good hiding spot.
While Tilly hid, Benny the brown bear wandered by. “What's happening?” Benny asked, scratching his head.
“Playing hide and seek!” Max replied, still counting. “Shh! Don't tell Tilly!”
Benny nodded and tiptoed away.
“25… 26… ready or not, here I come!” Max shouted. He swung through the trees, looking everywhere. “Tilly! Where are you?”
“Boo!” Tilly suddenly appeared, flapping her wings.
“Found you!” laughed Max.
Benny chuckled and said, “That was quick! Can I play too?”
“Of course!” said Max. “You can hide!”
Benny grinned. “Okay, count again!”
Max smiled, ready to count again. They were all giggles and fun, playing in the sunny jungle together.
