In a sunny little pond, there lived a green frog named Freddy. Freddy was a funny frog. He loved to jump and play all day long. One day, he decided to play a game with his best friends, Tilly the turtle and Benny the bunny.

“Let's play hide and seek!” Freddy croaked, bouncing on his lily pad.

“Okay!” said Tilly, her tiny tail wiggling. “I will hide first!”

“Count to ten!” yelled Benny, his big ears flopping.

Freddy closed his eyes. “One… two… three…” he counted loudly.

While Freddy counted, Tilly hid behind a big rock. Benny hopped behind a bush. They both giggled quietly.

“Seven… eight… nine… ten!” Freddy shouted. “Ready or not, here I come!”

He jumped from his lily pad and looked around. “Hmm, where is Tilly?” he wondered. “Is she under the leaf?”

Freddy peeked under a big green leaf. “No Tilly here!” he said, laughing.

Then he hopped to the rock. “Is Tilly behind the rock?” he asked.

Suddenly, Tilly giggled. “I'm here!”

Freddy jumped back in surprise. “You scared me!”

Now it was Benny's turn. “You found Tilly! Now find me!” he said from behind the bush.

Freddy looked everywhere. “Is Benny in the water?” he asked, looking splish-splash at the pond.

“Nope!” Benny laughed.

Finally, Freddy saw a twitching tail. “Benny, I see you!” he shouted, laughing so hard.

“Okay, I'm it now!” Benny said, chasing his friends. They all laughed and played together until the sun went down, happy and silly in their wonderful pond.
