In a sunny little town, there lived a horse named Charlie. Charlie was a big, brown horse with a shiny mane. He loved to talk and laugh. One day, he met his best friend, Benny the bunny. Benny had big ears and a fluffy tail.
"Hey, Benny!" Charlie neighed. "Do you want to play?"
"Yes, Charlie!" Benny hopped happily. "What game?"
"Let's play hide and seek!" Charlie suggested, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Okay! You count, and I will hide!" said Benny, bouncing away.
"One, two, three..." Charlie counted loudly. He could hear Benny's little feet thumping as he ran.
"Twenty! Ready or not, here I come!" Charlie shouted.
Charlie searched everywhere. He looked behind a tree. "Is Benny here?" he asked, peeking.
"Nope!" came a tiny voice from the bushes.
Charlie giggled. "I'll check the bushes!" He looked and saw a fluffy tail sticking out. “Benny, I see you!”
“Uh-oh!” Benny squeaked. He jumped out and giggled too. "You found me!"
"Now it's your turn to count!" Charlie said, feeling playful.
Benny nodded. "One, two, three..." he started counting.
Charlie quickly ran behind a big rock. He thought he was very sneaky.
"Twenty! Where are you, Charlie?" Benny called.
Charlie couldn't hold it in. He burst out laughing. “I'm right here!”
Benny jumped and laughed too. “You're so silly, Charlie!”
They played all day, laughing and hopping. The sun began to set, painting the sky with pink and orange.
“Best day ever!” Charlie said, smiling wide.
“Let's play again tomorrow!” Benny replied.
They both giggled as they headed home, excited for more fun.
