Quack! Quack! One sunny day, a little duck named Dilly waddled around the pond. Dilly was bright yellow and loved to splash in the water.
“Splash! Splash!” went Dilly.
“Hey, Dilly! What are you doing?” asked Benny the bunny, hopping nearby. Benny had big, floppy ears and loved to bounce.
“I'm making big splashes!” said Dilly, flapping his wings. “Want to join?”
Benny giggled. “I can't splash like you! I'm a bunny!”
Dilly grinned. “Just hop in! It's fun!”
Benny looked at the pond. “But I'll get wet!”
“Wet is fun!” quacked Dilly.
Benny thought for a moment. “Okay! I'll try!” He hopped closer to the edge.
“1, 2, 3… Jump!” Dilly shouted.
Benny jumped! But instead of a splash, he went “Boing!” and landed right on Dilly's back!
“Whoa!” Dilly said, spinning around. “Bunny on my back!”
Benny laughed. “I'm a flying bunny!”
Dilly giggled. “Hold on tight!”
With Benny bouncing on his back, Dilly swam in circles. “Whee! This is silly!”
“Faster, Dilly! Faster!” Benny cheered.
They splashed and laughed together.
Finally, Dilly stopped. “That was fun!”
Benny shook his wet fur. “Let's do it again!”
“Okay!” said Dilly.
And off they went, splashing and laughing, making the best silly memories ever!
