In a sunny little garden, there lived a very curious hedgehog named Harry. Harry loved to ask questions. His favorite question was, “What's that?”
One bright morning, Harry woke up with a big idea. “I will find the biggest, yummiest berry in the garden!” he announced to his friends. “Who wants to help?”
His friends, Bella the bunny and Tommy the turtle, jumped up with excitement. “I do! I do!” said Bella, wiggling her fluffy tail. “Let's go on an adventure!” Tommy said slowly, “I'm ready too, but I might need a little break!”
Off they went! Through the garden, they searched high and low. “What's that?” Harry squeaked, pointing to a shiny red ball. “Not a berry!” giggled Bella.
They hopped and waddled, until they found a bush full of beautiful berries. “Look at these!” Harry exclaimed. “Are they the biggest?”
“Let's taste!” Bella said, nibbling a berry. “Yummy!” she squealed. But Tommy, being slow and careful, took a tiny bite. “Too sour!” he frowned, and they all laughed.
Then, Harry spotted something funny. “What's that?” he said, pointing to a big, round rock. “It's a berry!” Bella said, jumping up and down. “No, it's not!” laughed Harry.
Suddenly, they heard a funny noise. “Rumble, tumble!” They turned around to see a big squirrel rolling down the hill, right into a pile of leaves! “Oops!” squeaked the squirrel. “I was looking for berries too!”
“Want to join us?” Harry asked. The squirrel nodded, “Yes, let's find the biggest berry together!”
So they all teamed up, laughing and playing, until they found the biggest berry ever! “Hooray!” they cheered.
That day, they learned that adventures are better with friends, and berries are always a bit funny too!
