A young white detective rabbit with large pink ears wearing an oversized brown detective hat and holding a shiny magnifying glass examines a pink feather on a varnished wooden bench with a focused, mischievous expression; behind him to the left a gray rabbit friend in a yellow polka-dot dress claps and smiles, to the right a small beige mouse named Tilly cuddles a glove like a pillow on a suitcase with a shy, apologetic look, and a red-and-brown robin perches on the station clock tilting its head; the retro train platform features wooden planks, a large round clock with black hands, colorful posters, bright flower pots, a blue-and-white train in the background, warm late-afternoon light, saturated colors, clean outlines, and a 1990s cartoon style centered on the bench with playful details. report a problem with this image

Chapter 1: The Curious Clue at Carrotville Station

Benny the Bunny loved two things more than anything else: crunchy carrots and solving mysteries. Some bunnies liked to nap all day in their burrows, but not Benny. He liked to hop around Carrotville, eyes wide and ears perked, searching for clues.

One sunny morning, Benny woke up, stretched his long ears, and sniffed the air. “Today smells like a mystery,” he said with a grin. He popped his detective hat on (it was just a bit too big, but he liked it) and skipped outside.

At the end of Benny's street, trains chugged and whistled at Carrotville Station. Every day, animals came and went, waving goodbye and saying hello. Benny loved watching the trains—sometimes he even helped Mr. Mole, the station master, sweep up crumbs and find lost things.

Today, the platform was busy. Squirrels scurried with tiny suitcases, Mrs. Duck wobbled along with her ducklings, and Rosie Rabbit, Benny's friend, practiced balancing on the yellow line (but not too close to the edge).

Benny hopped closer, just in time to hear a worried voice. “Oh dear, oh dear!” Mr. Mole was shuffling about, whiskers twitching. “Has anyone seen my gloves? I left them right here on this bench, but now they're gone!”

Benny's nose twitched. “Aha!” he whispered. “A case!” He straightened his hat and turned to Rosie. “Shall we investigate?”

Rosie's eyes sparkled. “Detective Benny, let's go!”

Benny began his search. He looked at the bench where Mr. Mole had been sitting. There was a funny little mark—almost like a paw print and a small, pink feather.

He turned to the passengers. “Excuse me, everyone! I'm Benny Bunny, detective. Has anyone seen a pair of gloves? They're very important to Mr. Mole.”

A few heads shook, but Mrs. Hedgehog piped up, “I saw something! A little bird was hopping on that bench earlier.”

Benny scribbled in his notebook. “Thank you, Mrs. Hedgehog. A bird with a pink feather, perhaps?”

Rosie nodded. “Let's look for more clues!”

Just then, the station bell rang. A train whooshed past, and Benny's ears fluttered in the breeze. The case of the missing gloves had begun!

Chapter 2: Questions and Quick Paws

Benny and Rosie circled the bench, sharp eyes searching. Benny picked up the pink feather and twirled it. “This is our first clue,” he said.

A little robin darted down from the roof and chirped, “Good morning! Are you looking for something?”

Benny hopped up politely. “Hello, Robin! We're looking for Mr. Mole's missing gloves. Did you see them?”

Robin fluffed his tiny wings. “I didn't, but I saw Magpie flying around with something furry. She likes shiny or soft things.”

Rosie's ears perked up. “Let's find Magpie!”

They followed a little trail of small, shiny stones that led behind the old clock tower at the edge of the platform. Benny knocked gently on the clock tower door. “Hello? Magpie?”

A head popped out, black and white and very bright. “Hello, detectives!” Magpie said, tipping her head. “What brings you here?”

Benny showed her the feather. “We're helping Mr. Mole. He lost his gloves. Did you see them?”

Magpie looked surprised. “Oh! I saw something soft on the bench, but I didn't take it. I was carrying a biscuit I found on the ground. See?” She pointed to a half-eaten biscuit in her beak. “Maybe you should ask Mouse. She's always cleaning things up.”

“Thank you, Magpie! Enjoy your biscuit,” Benny called. “Let's talk to Mouse, Rosie.”

They found Mouse near the ticket booth, sweeping crumbs into a neat little pile.

“Hello, Mouse,” Rosie said. “Did you see anything funny near the bench?”

Mouse nodded. “I saw Squirrel picking up something white and soft. He said he wanted to help Mr. Mole by putting it in the Lost and Found.

Benny's tail wiggled with excitement. “The Lost and Found box! Let's go!”

Chapter 3: A Tangle of Tails and Tricky Clues

The Lost and Found box at Carrotville Station was under the big notice board. Benny loved it; it was full of odd socks, old train tickets, and the occasional forgotten sandwich.

Benny and Rosie peered inside. There were buttons, a marble, and a woolly hat, but no gloves.

Just then, Squirrel skipped up, his tail bouncing like a brush. “Good morning! Are you looking for something?” he asked.

Benny nodded. “Mr. Squirrel, did you find a pair of gloves this morning?”

Squirrel's eyes grew big. “Oh! I picked up something from the bench, but when I was opening the Lost and Found box, a gust of wind blew it from my paws! It flew right past the flower pots and… I lost sight of it.”

“Oh dear,” Rosie said. “Where could it have gone?”

Benny thought hard. “Let's check near the flower pots.”

The flower pots stood in a row by the end of the platform. Benny crouched down, wiggling his nose under the leaves.

“Aha!” he cheered. “A glove!”

He pulled out one of Mr. Mole's gloves, a little dusty but safe. Rosie clapped her paws.

“Let's find the other one,” she said.

They searched beside the benches, under the snack cart, and even behind the timetable. Just as Benny was about to give up, he heard a giggle.

Tiny Tilly, a mouse no bigger than a cookie, was sitting on a suitcase, using something soft for a pillow. It was the other glove!

“Hello, Tilly!” Benny said gently. “Is that Mr. Mole's glove?”

Tilly nodded. “It was on the ground, and my head was cold! But I only borrowed it.”

Rosie grinned. “We're glad you kept it safe, Tilly. Mr. Mole will be so happy!”

Benny brushed off the gloves. “Now, let's return them.”

Chapter 4: Back Where They Belong

Benny and Rosie hurried back to Mr. Mole, carrying the gloves like treasures.

“Mr. Mole!” Benny called. “Look what we found!”

Mr. Mole gasped with delight. “My gloves! Oh, thank you, thank you, dear detectives!”

He slipped them on, smiling. “They are a little dusty, but I can clean them. I'm just glad to have them back. The station feels right again.”

Tilly scampered over. “I'm sorry I took the glove, Mr. Mole. My ears were cold.”

Mr. Mole chuckled. “That's all right, Tilly. Next time, just ask! I'd be happy to lend you something warm.”

Benny grinned. “Mystery solved! And everyone learned how to help and share.”

Just then, the train's whistle blew, and the platform filled with happy chatter again.

Rosie nudged Benny. “Another case closed, Detective Bunny.”

Benny tipped his hat. “Ready for the next adventure, Rosie?”

Rosie giggled. “Always!”

Benny looked at everyone, his heart hopping with joy. He loved solving mysteries, but he loved helping his friends even more.

As the sun set and the trains chugged off, Carrotville Station was peaceful once again. The missing gloves were found, and kindness was passed along, one paw at a time.
