The Garden of Questions
Once upon a time, in a round and bright world, lived two small friends named Lily and Sam. Lily wore a purple dress. Sam wore a green hat. One sunny morning, they found a big wooden door in the middle of their garden. The door was painted with pictures of yellow moons and blue stars.
“Where does this door lead?” asked Lily. Her eyes were as round as the full moon.
“I don't know,” said Sam. “Let's find out together!”
Lily took Sam's hand. The door opened with a soft creak, like a cat waking up. Warm wind tickled their cheeks. They stepped through the door and found themselves in a magical place. The grass was as soft as a pillow. Trees wore hats made of clouds. Flowers danced in the wind, whispering gentle songs.
“This is not our garden,” said Sam.
“It feels like a dream,” said Lily, smiling.
The Talking Stone
In the middle of this funny place, they saw a round gray stone with a big smile.
“Hello, little ones,” said the stone. “Welcome to the Garden of Questions.”
Lily giggled. “Do stones talk here?”
“Yes,” said the stone, “and every question has a story.”
Sam sat beside the stone. “I have a question. Why is the sky blue?”
The stone hummed softly. “Because the sky wears blue to remind everyone to look up and dream.”
Lily clapped her hands. “Why do we have to go to sleep at night?”
The stone glowed gently. “Sleep is a secret door, just like this one. It takes you to new places in your mind.”
Lily and Sam looked at each other. Their thoughts were big balloons, floating up.
Finding the Truth
As they walked, they met a little bird wearing glasses. The bird was all yellow, like a tiny sun.
“What are you looking for?” asked the bird.
“We want to know,” said Lily and Sam together.
The bird tilted its head. “Sometimes, knowing is not just finding answers. Sometimes, it's about seeing with new eyes.”
Sam turned to Lily. “I think everything is a little different here.”
Lily nodded. “Maybe the world changes when we ask questions.”
The bird chirped. “Yes! The world is made of questions and dreams.”
Soon, the sky turned pink and orange. Lily and Sam grew sleepy.
“We must go home,” said Sam, yawning.
“Remember,” said the stone, “every question is a little window. Keep looking. Keep wondering.”
Lily and Sam walked back through the door. Their garden smiled at them.
“We can find magic everywhere,” whispered Lily.
Sam grinned. “We just have to ask.”
And from that day, they asked many questions, and the world became more beautiful each time.
