"According to this, the next stop is at the ‘Heart of the Forest'," Max read aloud, scratching his head. "What could that mean?"
As they explored, Lucy noticed something strange about the trees. "Look! Some of the trees have heart carvings on them!" she exclaimed, pointing at an oak tree with a heart carved into its trunk.
"Maybe that's the heart of the forest!" Emma suggested, her excitement growing again.
They approached the tree and noticed a small hole at its base. Max knelt down and peered inside. "There's something in there!" he said, reaching in carefully and pulling out a small, folded piece of paper.
"This better be another clue!" Jake said, bouncing on his feet.
Max opened the paper, revealing a riddle: "To find the next piece of treasure, look for the place where friends gather for fun, where laughter and joy are never outdone."
"That sounds like the community center!" Emma exclaimed, her eyes lighting up. "Let's go!"

The friends dashed to the community center, where decorations for the Valentine's Day celebration were being set up. Red and pink streamers hung from the ceiling, and tables overflowed with heart-shaped cookies and candy.
