Once upon a time, Prince Benny woke up with a giggle. “Today is a tickly day!” he said. Benny wore his red boots—one, two, plop!—and his shiny blue crown—ding! Outside, the magic sun peeked out, round and bright, just like a pancake.
Benny took his bouncy ball—boing, boing!—and tiptoed into the garden. “Hello, bunnies!” said Benny. The bunnies hopped, “Hop, hop!” and Benny hopped, too. “Hop, hop!” Benny landed on a soft pink mushroom. “Oof!” he said, then giggled. The mushroom wiggled and sang, “Boop-boop!”
Suddenly, a tiny fairy zipped by. “Swish!” She sprinkled sparkles. Benny sneezed, “Achoo!” Glitter flew up—whee!—and covered Benny's nose. “Tickle, tickle!” Benny laughed and the fairy laughed, too.
Prince Benny found a green frog sitting on a leaf. “Ribbit!” said the frog. Benny said, “Hello, Froggy!” The frog stuck out a long, silly tongue—splap!—and caught a fly-shaped bubble. “Bubble, bubble!” Benny clapped. The bubble went, “Pop!” right on Benny's shoe. Both Benny and Froggy giggled.
Just then, Benny heard a funny noise—toc-toc-toc!—from behind a bush. It was Benny's friend, the dancing duck. “Quackity-quack!” Duck flapped her wings—flap, flap, flap! Benny and Duck spun in circles. “Wooosh!” All the friends danced and laughed, round and round, then plopped down—pouf!—on the grass, tired and happy.
Benny yawned a big “Yaaaawn!” Fairy, Froggy, and Duck snuggled close. “Best day ever,” Benny whispered. The magic sun winked and everyone felt cozy.
If you share a giggle, you share a happy heart.
