Ollie was a little boy with bright eyes and curly hair. He loved to go on adventures, especially with his best friend, Daisy the dog. One sunny morning, Ollie found a shiny old key under the big oak tree in his backyard. The key was cold and smooth. It made a funny little “clink” when Ollie tapped it on a stone.
Ollie ran to Daisy. “Look, Daisy! I found a treasure key!” he said. Daisy wagged her tail and barked softly. Ollie's heart felt happy. He wondered, “Where does this key go?”
Ollie and Daisy tiptoed through the soft, green grass. The grass tickled Ollie's toes. He looked at the flowers. They smelled sweet, like honey. Suddenly, Ollie saw a tiny, blue butterfly. It fluttered near his nose.
“Do you know where the treasure is?” Ollie asked the butterfly. The butterfly flapped its wings and flew toward the garden shed.
Ollie and Daisy followed. The shed was old and smelled like wood and earth. Inside, it was dark and cool. But Ollie was brave. He held Daisy's paw.
“Let's look together, Daisy,” Ollie whispered. He peeked behind a box. He looked under a shelf. Then he saw something odd—a little door, just Ollie's size!
The door had a tiny lock. Ollie's heart thumped. He took the shiny key and turned it. “Click!” The door creaked open.
Inside the little door was a tunnel. It was not scary. It was quiet and warm. Sunlight peeked through tiny holes. Ollie crawled in first. Daisy followed close. The tunnel smelled like fresh earth and flowers.
Ollie saw sparkles at the end of the tunnel. He crawled faster. When he came out, he gasped. “Wow!” he said.
They were in a secret garden! The grass was extra soft. The air smelled like strawberries and mint. There were big, round bushes and tall sunflowers. In the middle of the garden, there was a big, wooden chest. It was old and covered with shiny shells and soft moss.
Ollie touched the chest. It felt bumpy and cool. Daisy sniffed it. “Woof!” she said gently.
Ollie used his key again. “Click!” The chest opened slowly. Inside, Ollie saw wonderful things. There were sparkling marbles, tiny bells, and a crown made of yellow flowers. There were old coins, smooth as pebbles, and a rainbow of shiny stones.
Ollie smiled. “This is a beautiful treasure,” he whispered.
He wanted to keep the memory forever. Ollie took out his little drawing pad and crayons from his backpack. He sat on the soft grass. Daisy lay beside him, warm and quiet.
Ollie looked at each treasure. He drew the marbles, the bells, the crown, and the shiny stones. He tried to draw every color he could see. He even drew Daisy, with her nose in the chest.
While Ollie drew, a shy bunny peeked from behind a bush. “Would you like to help me draw?” Ollie asked kindly.
The bunny nodded. Ollie gave her a crayon. Daisy wagged her tail. Soon, the butterfly came back and landed on Ollie's hand. Ollie giggled. “You can help too!” he said.
Together, Ollie, Daisy, the bunny, and the butterfly made a big, beautiful picture of the treasure.
Ollie felt proud. “We are a good team,” he said. “We helped each other.”
He closed the chest gently. “Thank you, treasure,” Ollie whispered. “We will remember you.”
Ollie, Daisy, and their new friends crawled back through the tunnel. The sun was warm on their faces. Ollie's heart felt full and happy.
At home, Ollie showed his drawing to his mom. “Look, Mom! We found a secret treasure and drew it together.”
His mom smiled and hugged him. “You are brave and clever, Ollie. And you are a wonderful friend.”
Ollie grinned. He looked at Daisy, the bunny, and the butterfly. “Let's have more adventures together,” Ollie said.
The day was gentle and bright. Ollie felt safe, loved, and ready for new adventures, with friends by his side.
