Chapter 1: Lily and the Big Blue Sea
Lily was a little girl. She loved the sea. She wore round glasses and a bright yellow hat. Lily wanted to be a scientist. She wanted to know what lived down, down under the water.
One sunny day, Lily put on her mask. She put on her flippers. “Goodbye, Mama!” she said. “I'm going to explore the ocean!”
“Be safe, Lily!” called Mama.
Lily dived under the waves. She saw shiny fish and soft seaweed. She saw a tiny crab. “Hello, Crab!” said Lily.
“Hello, Lily!” said Crab. “Where are you going?”
“I am going to find something new,” said Lily. “Will you come with me?”
“Yes!” said Crab. So they went together.
Suddenly, the water got dark. A big cave was in front of them. Lily felt a little scared. But she held Crab's claw. “We are brave!” said Lily. “We will go slow and be careful.”
Chapter 2: The Cave and the Clever Plan
Inside the cave, it was quiet and cool. Lily saw a glowing jellyfish. “Hello, Jelly!” said Lily.
“Hello, Lily,” said Jelly. “Be careful! A rock fell down and blocked the way out.”
“Oh no!” said Lily.
“It's okay,” said Lily. “We are smart. We will find a way.”
Lily looked at the rocks. She touched them gently. One rock was loose. “Crab, can you help me?” asked Lily.
“Yes!” said Crab. He used his big claws to move the small rock. Lily pushed too. “Push, push, push!” said Lily.
The rock rolled away. Light came inside the cave. “We did it!” said Lily. “Thank you, Crab! Thank you, Jelly!”
Jelly smiled. “You are very brave and smart, Lily.”
Chapter 3: Home Again
Lily, Crab, and Jelly swam out of the cave. The sun was shining. Fish swam all around.
Lily laughed. “I love the sea! I like being brave. I like thinking of good ideas. I like helping my friends.”
Jelly waved. “Goodbye, Lily! Come visit again!”
“Goodbye!” said Crab.
Lily waved and swam up, up, up. She popped out of the water and saw Mama on the beach.
“Mama, I had an adventure!” said Lily.
Mama gave Lily a big hug. “I'm so glad you are safe. You are my brave scientist.”
Lily smiled. “I am brave. I am smart. And I love the ocean!”
