A 4-year-old boy with a round face and messy brown hair, wide amazed eyes and a slight smile wears a small blue wetsuit and floats near a rock holding a dry sketchbook above the water, while a green sea turtle with a textured shell and gentle eyes swims just below and to his right as if supporting him; several small yellow, red and blue fish spiral around him with pointed fins and bright spots, tiny crabs with red claws hide on the light beige sand among rounded stones in the foreground, and a vibrant coral forest of orange finger-like branches, magenta clusters, purple anemones and waving green seaweed—layered like cut paper—fills the scene as broad golden sunrays pierce the surface, casting flat shadows and sparkling reflections on the sand and sketchbook, showing the boy focused and brave, drawing from his rock in a lush, peaceful coral garden. report a problem with this image

Part 1: Finn and the Big Blue Sea

Finn was a little boy with messy brown hair. He loved to draw. Every morning, he looked at the sea from his window. The sea was bright and blue. Finn smiled. It was a good day for an adventure.

Finn held his special drawing book tight. “Today, I will draw the coral under the sea,” he said. His mama smiled. “Be brave, Finn. Be careful. And have fun!” she said.

Finn nodded. He put on his tiny blue flippers. He put on his yellow mask. He took a deep breath. “Ready!” he said.

Finn walked to the water. He dipped his toes. Splash! The sea was warm and gentle. Finn laughed. He wiggled in the water. He felt safe. Small fish swam all around his feet. “Hello, fish!” said Finn. The fish swam in little circles. Finn smiled. He liked his new friends.

Finn floated on his back. He looked up. The sun made diamonds on the waves. “Wow,” he said softly. Finn wanted to see more.

He put his face in the water. He looked down. There were rocks. There was sand. There were tiny, tiny crabs. Finn giggled. The crabs waved their little claws. “Hi, crabs!” said Finn.

Part 2: The Secret Coral Garden

Finn swam softly. He kicked his feet. He saw something orange. He saw something purple and pink. Finn blinked. It was a coral garden!

The coral was bright and twisty. It looked like a candy maze. Fish darted and danced. Yellow fish, blue fish, long fish, round fish. Finn watched. He did not touch. He remembered: “Look, but do not touch,” Mama had said.

Finn opened his drawing book. He wanted to draw. But oh! The water made the page wiggle. His crayon was wet. Finn stopped. He felt a little sad. “How can I draw here?” he asked.

Suddenly, a little green turtle swam by. “Hello, Finn!” said the turtle with a slow voice. Finn blinked. “Turtle! Can you help me?” The turtle nodded. “Hold your drawing book up high, Finn. Keep it dry. I will help you stay steady.

“Thank you, Turtle,” said Finn. Finn sat on a smooth rock. The turtle floated beside him. Finn held his book high. He used his crayon. He drew curvy coral. He drew tiny fish. His hand was careful. He was patient.

The turtle smiled. “That is a beautiful drawing, Finn,” said Turtle. Finn beamed. “Thank you, Turtle! I love the sea.”

Just then, a gentle wave came by. Finn slipped a little. His drawing almost fell! He held on tight. “I can do it,” said Finn softly. He sat still. He was brave. The wave went away. Finn's drawing was safe.

Part 3: Home With a Smile

Finn finished his drawing. Colors filled his page. He looked at his coral garden. He looked at his new turtle friend. “I did it,” said Finn proudly.

Turtle nodded. “You were clever. You were strong. You were careful. You made something special.” Finn's eyes shone. “I will show my mama,” he said.

Finn waved goodbye to Turtle. “Thank you, Turtle. Thank you, sea!” he called.

Finn swam back. The fish followed him. The crabs waved. The sunlight danced on the water. Finn felt warm and happy.

When Finn came home, Mama hugged him. “Did you have fun?” she asked. Finn nodded. He showed her his coral drawing. “Wow, Finn! It is beautiful. You are my brave artist,” said Mama.

Finn felt proud. He put his drawing book by his bed. He snuggled under his blanket. He remembered the coral garden. He remembered being brave.

“Good night, sea,” whispered Finn. “Good night, Turtle. Good night, Mama.”

Finn closed his eyes. He dreamed of bright corals, gentle fish, and new adventures. The end.
