As he glided out into the vibrant streets, Glimmer noticed the holiday decorations adorning every corner. Strings of colorful lights danced above him, and huge, glittery snowflakes hung from lampposts. Children with rosy cheeks ran past, their laughter echoing like music. As he flew above the stalls, he spotted a peculiar sight. A tall, gangly fellow with a twirling mustache was trying to juggle three enormous pies! “Whoa! I've got to see this,” Glimmer said, hovering close to the action. Just as the juggler tossed the pies into the air, a gust of wind swooshed by, sending the pies flying in every direction.
“Catch them, catch them!” the juggler shouted, his eyes wide with panic. In a flash, Glimmer zipped after the pies, his wings a blur. He caught the first pie just before it splattered into a lady's hat. With a quick flip, he tossed it back to the juggler, who caught it with a triumphant grin. “Two more to go!” Glimmer thought.
One pie landed on a very surprised dog, who barked in confusion, while the other was headed straight for a group of giggling children. With a swirl and a swoop, Glimmer managed to save both, landing gracefully beside the juggler. The crowd erupted into cheers.
“Bravo!” they shouted. The juggler bowed deeply, his mustache twirling like a twinkling ribbon. “Thank you, little friend! You saved my New Year's Eve performance!”
Glimmer giggled, “I just wanted to help! But this gives me an idea for my celebration. I need something spectacular!” As he waved goodbye to his newfound friend, inspiration sparked in his heart.

He saw families ice skating on a shimmering pond, their laughter echoing through the chilly evening air. He spotted a booth where children tried to knock over bottles with beanbags, while others cheered them on. “Oh, this looks fun!” he thought.
As he joined in, he noticed a girl with bright blue glasses, who seemed to be having trouble. “Want some help?” Glimmer asked, hovering beside her.
“I just can't seem to hit the bottles!” she sighed, frustration crossing her face.
“Let me give it a try!” Glimmer said with a wink. He focused his tiny energy, and with a flick of his wrist, he sent a beanbag flying! It knocked down all three bottles in one go. The crowd gasped, and the girl's eyes sparkled with delight.
“You're amazing!” she exclaimed, clapping her hands. “What's your name?”
“I'm Glimmer! I'm gathering ideas for my New Year's Eve celebration!” he said proudly.
“Let's make it a night to remember!” she replied. “I'll help you!”

With a new friend by his side, Glimmer and the girl—who introduced herself as Mia—set off to plan the most spectacular New Year's celebration.
