Lily, a smiling, wide-eyed woman with brown hair in a ponytail wearing a white cardboard space helmet and a pastel makeshift suit, jumps pretending to be an astronaut while Mia, about 5, round-faced with blonde braids in star pajamas, claps beside her on the grass; a soft night garden with green lawn, a small swing and house in the background, deep blue starry sky and a pale yellow moon; the scene centers on the two friends pretending to take off in dynamic poses with visible laughter, movement rendered in thick gouache strokes, warm colors, soft outlines and a joyful, dreamy mood, moonlight gently lighting their faces. report a problem with this image

"Look, Mia! Look at the stars!" said Lily, pointing up at the night sky.

"Wow! So many!" replied Mia, her eyes wide.

Lily smiled. "I want to go to space. I want to be an astronaut!"

"An astronaut? What do they do?" asked Mia, curious.

"They fly to the moon and see stars up close! They float in space!" Lily said, jumping up and down.

"How do they do that?" Mia tilted her head.

Lily put on her pretend space helmet. "First, they wear a big suit. It keeps them safe. Then, they go in a rocket!"

"Like a big, loud firework?" Mia giggled.

"Yes! Whoosh! Up they go!" Lily waved her arms. "In space, they float. They can eat special food. Like space ice cream!"

"Yummy!" Mia laughed. "Can I be an astronaut too?"

"Yes! We can be space friends!" Lily said, smiling bright.

Mia looked at the stars again. "What do they see in space?"

"They see planets! And they can see Earth. It looks like a blue marble!" Lily explained.

"Wow! I want to see that!" Mia clapped her hands.

"Let's pretend!" said Lily. "Count down with me! Three, two, one... Blast off!"

They both jumped in the air, pretending to fly.

"Zoom, zoom!" they shouted together, giggling.

"One day, we can really go," said Lily.

"Yes! Space is fun!" Mia cheered.

And they smiled at the stars, dreaming of their space adventure.
