Chapter 1: Benny's Big Day
Once upon a sunny morning, a little boy named Benny woke up with a big smile on his face. Benny was four years old, with curly brown hair and bright blue eyes that sparkled like the sky. Today was special because it was the day of the big talent show at his preschool!
“Mom! Mom!” Benny called, bouncing out of bed. “I can't wait for the talent show!”
His mom came into his room, wearing a warm smile. “That's wonderful, Benny! What talent will you show everyone?”
Benny scratched his head, thinking hard. “Um… I want to sing a song! But what if I forget the words?” His little face scrunched up with worry.
His mom knelt down beside him. “It's okay, Benny. Everyone loves to hear you sing. Just remember, it's fun to share what you love. You can do it!”
Benny nodded slowly. “Okay, I will try!”
After breakfast, Benny put on his favorite blue shirt and his bright red shoes. He felt a little like a superhero! “I look ready!” he exclaimed, twirling around.
But as they walked to preschool, Benny's tummy felt funny. “What if I mess up?” he worried.
His mom held his hand. “You are brave, Benny. Just take a deep breath and believe in yourself. You have a special voice!”
Benny took a deep breath. “I can do it! I can sing!”
Chapter 2: The Talent Show
When Benny arrived at preschool, he saw his friends practicing. Emma was dancing, and Max was juggling colorful balls. “Wow, they're all so good!” Benny thought.
“Hey, Benny!” called Emma. “What are you doing for the talent show?”
“I'm going to sing!” Benny replied, but his voice was tiny.
Max smiled and said, “That's awesome! Sing your heart out!”
Benny felt a little better. Maybe he could do this! As the teachers called everyone to the stage, Benny watched his friends perform. Emma danced gracefully, and the kids clapped loudly. Max juggled and made everyone laugh.
Finally, it was Benny's turn. “Benny, it's your turn!” called Ms. Lily, his teacher. Benny felt his heart race.
“What if I forget the words?” he whispered to himself, feeling small.
He took a deep breath and walked to the stage. The lights were bright, and his friends were watching. Benny looked at their smiling faces. “They believe in me!” he thought.
“Hello, everyone! I'm Benny, and I'm going to sing!” he said, his voice getting stronger.
He started to sing a song about sunshine and rainbows. At first, his voice shook a little, but then it got louder and clearer. Benny's smile grew as he sang. He remembered his mom's words: “It's fun to share what you love.”
When he finished, the room filled with loud claps and cheers. “Yay, Benny!” shouted Emma. Benny felt a warm glow inside.
“I did it! I really did it!” Benny exclaimed, jumping up and down.
Chapter 3: Benny's Confidence
After the show, all the kids gathered around Benny. “You were amazing!” said Max. “You sang so beautifully!”
“Thank you!” Benny replied, feeling proud. “I was a little scared, but I remembered what my mom said.”
Emma smiled. “You showed us that we can all be brave! You're special, Benny!”
Benny beamed. “We can all do wonderful things if we believe in ourselves!”
As they played together, Benny felt like he could do anything. He realized that everyone has something special inside them. It's okay to be a little scared sometimes, but it's important to try!
When Benny got home, he ran to his mom. “Mom! I sang at the show, and everyone clapped for me!”
His mom hugged him tightly. “I am so proud of you, Benny! You showed everyone your beautiful voice and your brave heart.”
Benny smiled big. “I am special! Just like everyone else!”
And from that day on, Benny remembered that he could do anything he set his mind to, as long as he believed in himself.
